Wayland Baptist University: Former Lubbock Coronado HS (TX) head coach Butch Henderson has accepted the head coaching job.

Lenoir-Rhyne: Head coach Fred Goldsmith has decided to retire. Defensive coordinator Mike Houston has been promoted to acting head coach.

Randolph-Macon College: (Offensive line or Defensive backs) seeks applicants for a full time, twelve month assistant football position. Randolph-Macon is a Division III member institution participating in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with collegiate playing experience preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching the Offensive Line or Secondary, off campus recruiting, assisting the head coach in all practice and game day preparation, and other administrative duties as assigned by the head football coach. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills as well as be committed to the policies and regulations of the ODAC and NCAA Division III. Interested applicants should forward a cover letter, resume and the names, addresses and phone numbers of three professional references all in one attachment to Sharon Jackson, Director of Human Resources, at jobs@rmc.edu with “Assistant Football Coach” in the subject line. Georgia: Running backs coach Bryan McClendon has received a salary increase from $90,000 to $200,000. Wide receivers coach Tony Ball goes from $165,480 to $200,000.
