Maryland: We continue to hear more changes coming later this week. We'll keep you posted.
Incarnate Word (D-II - TX): We have learned that UIW plans to name Larry Kennan head coach. Kennan coached in the NFL for most of the 80s and 90s. He also served as head coach at Lamar University from '79-81.
Washington State: We have learned that Paul Volero will be joining Mike Leach's staff. Volero was on Rich Rod's staff at West Virginia and then spent a number of years at Central Michigan. He has been coaching at Key West High for the past year or two.
Liberty (FCS): Sources tell us that Turner Gill to be named head coach at Liberty tomorrow.
Kansas: Former Akron head coach Rob Ianello has interviewed for a position on Charlie Weis' staff. We are told that he has not formally been offered a spot yet.
Fresno State: We hear that Nick Toth (A&M's outside linebackers / special teams coordinator) is expected to join Tim DeRuyter's staff.
Illinois: We are told that none of the offensive assistants will be retained after the bowl game.
Maryland: We hear Mike Locksley is likely to join the Maryland staff.
Howard Payne (D-III): Roger Geise has been named head coach. Geise was serving as defensive coordinator.
Defensive Backs Coach of the Year: All of the finalists were worthy; but only one had two guys bring home the hardware.
Pitt: Defensive coordinator Keith Patterson has been named interim head coach.
Auburn: Sources tell us that BYU offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Brandon Doman is another guy that Auburn is looking at.
Arkansas: New defensive coordinator Paul Haynes will earn the same compensation as Paul Petrino ($475,000 total with $50,000 of that coming from endorsements).
Liberty: We hear Turner Gill is on campus today interviewing for the head coaching opening.
Alabama: The coaches wives at Alabama should be receiving nice presents this year. See the bonus list.
UCLA: We have been told that Mora is promoting Marques Tuiasosopo to a full time position coach. Tuiasosopo, no relation to Ken Niumatalolo but equally challenging to type, was at UCLA this past season in an off the field role. We are told he'll coach the tight ends. Tuiasosopo was a quarterback in the league for about 8 years.
Concordia University (DII - MN): Interim head coach Ryan Williams has earned the head coaching position.
Houston: Multiple sources tell us that Houston Nutt is interested in the Houston job.
Southern Miss: Sources tell us that South Carolina's Ellis Johnson will interview this week. Other names we hear the committe has discussed include Blake Anderson (current OC), Todd Monken, Frank Wilson, Paul Petrino, Shane Beamer Tommy Bowden and a few others.
Illinois: Vic Koenning has decided to pursue other opportunities; however he will coach the team in their bowl game. Beckman has retained defensive line coach Keith Gilmore.
Maryland: We have been told that Gary Crowton has resigned.
Memphis: We are told that former Ole Miss safeties coach Chris Vaughan has an offer to join the staff at Memphis.
UCLA: We have learned that Noel Picked up the phone and confirmed to Jim L. Mora (love typing that) that he's coming on board as offensive coordinator today.
Fordham: Sources close to the program tell us Joe Moorhead (quarterbacks coach at UConn) will be the guy at Fordham. Should be announced this week we are told.
Fresno State: As we told you yesterday, expect the announcement this afternoon that Tim DeRuyter has been hired.
Greg Davis Sr.: We hear that both Florida and Auburn are interested in former Texas offensive coordinator Greg Davis Sr.
Maryland: Multiple sources telling us to look for an announcement "soon enough" regarding some staff changes at Maryland.
Lake Erie College (D-II): Sources tell us Mike Krahe, defensive coordinator, is no longer with the program.
Arizona State: We are told that Pitt head coach Todd Graham will be the new head coach at Arizona State. The shocks just keep coming.
Memphis: We have confirmed that Barry Odom, safeties coach at Missouri, has accepted the defensive coordinator role at Memphis.
UCLA: Got to give Mora credit for bringing in quality coaches...we have confirmed that University of Washington corners coach Demetrice Martin is joining the staff as well.
Eastern Illinois: As we previously reported, Dino Babers has retained Mike Lynch wide receivers / recruiting coordinator. We have learned that Babers will also retain offensive line coach Brian Callahan.
Ohio State: Paperwork is done. Everett Withers is now officially a part of the staff. Some serious coaching talent moving into Columbus.

Auburn: We are told Gus will remain on staff to call the bowl game.
FAU: Carl Pelini provides an update on the process of hiring his staff.
Houston Texans: Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is taking a medical leave of absence. Linebackers coach Reggie Herring will call the defense while Phillips is away. At this time, we have no further details other than hearing he will have a "surgical procedure" this week and that the Texans expect him to return.
Incarnate Word (D-II - TX): We hear UIW is close to making a decision. We hear there are four finalists, Smithson Valley head coach Larry Hill, UIW interim head coach Todd Ivicic, UIW offensive coordinator Tony Marciano and one other we have not been able to confirm.
Hawaii: So over 30 guys have applied. Names we are told that have applied include: Norm Chow, Mark Banker (Oregon State DC), Kalani Fifita Sitake (Utah DC), Brian Cabral (Colorado LBs), Dirk Koetter (Jacksonville Jags OC), Jerry Glanville (UFL), Rich Miano (Hawaii interim HC), Mike Cavanaugh (Oregon State OL), Ivin Jasper (Navy OC), Duane Akina (Texas DBs), Nick Rolovich (Hawaii OC), etc...
Southeastern LA: This one continues on. We are told Mississippi Gulf Coast head coach Steve Campbell has an offer but has not reached an agreement largely over compensation for assistants. Delta State head coach Ron Roberts (one of their original targets), whose team just lost in the D-II semis, will meet with reps from Southeastern this week.
Quincy University (NAIA - IL): We have learned that Bloomsburg (D-II - PA) offensive coordinator Tom Pajic will be named head coach at Quincy today.
Texas A&M: We have learned that offensive line coach B.J. Anderson will make the move with Kevin Sumlin from Houston to College Station.
Mount Ida (DIII - MA): Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilmartin is no longer with the program.
