UNLV: A local report popped up tonight that UNLV would announce Bishop Gorman head coach Tony Sanchez next week as their head coach. Coach Sanchez responded that nothing has been agreed to.

Auburn: Will Muschamp's hire is moving closer; but other staffing issues have to be worked out first, per Bruce Feldman with FoxSports.

Tulsa: Texas A&M offensive coordinator Jake Spavital interviewed today for the head coaching position per Mark Berman in Houston.

Louisiana-Monroe: Head coach Todd Berry will take over play-calling duties in 2015, but offensive coordinator Steve Farmer will retain his title and continue coaching the offensive line, as reported by the Monroe News-Star. Wide receivers coach Jason Nichols has been elevated to passing game coordinator.

Dixie State (D-II - UT): Dixie State is looking to hire an offensive and defensive coordinator. Bachelor's degree, NCAA coaching experience, and proven experience recruiting students at the NCAA level are required. This is a full time "at will" athletic staff position (January through December) with $50,000 salary. Submit cover letter, resume and three references via this link.

Winona State (D-II - MN): Winona State is seeking applicants for an offensive line coach. This position will be responsible for coaching the offensive line. Preferred qualifications for this position include a Master’s Degree, and collegiate playing experience. Previous collegiate experience coaching the OL is required. Bret Bielema: Chris Low with ESPN spoke with Bret Bielema this afternoon who says he plans to remain at Arkansas.

Florida: Per sources, Jim McElwain has informed his players at Colorado State that he is leaving for the Florida job. Note, some CSU players are tweeting that they are yet to hear anything and reports are arising out of Florida that the buyout has become a significant issue. Will update.

Buffalo: Lance Leipold has hired a number of assistants from his Wisconsin-Whitewater staff - defensive coordinator Brian Borland, offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki, offensive line coach Daryl Agpalsa and wide receivers coach Alan Hensell. He has also retained running backs coach Matt Simon and defensive line coach Chris Cosh from the previous staff.

Nebraska: Per sources, Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst is targeting Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema.

South Alabama: Per source, offensive coordinator Robert Matthews will not return.

Florida: The Coloradoan is reporting that Florida is in final negotiations with Jim McElwain, and that the Gators are trying to negotiate McElwain's reported $7.5 million buyout down to $3 million with the promise of a future series one game in Fort Collins or Denver.

Valparaiso (FCS - IN): Valparaiso is looking for a game on September 19, 2015. Would prefer to play at home. Looking for a DII or NAIA opponent. Contact Mark LaBarbera at mark.labarbera@valpo.edu or 219 464-6894.

Waldorf (NAIA - IA): Waldorf College is looking to fill an open date for 8/29/15 or 9/5/15 with an NAIA or Division III opponent. Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt has now confirmed that offensive coordinator Karl Dorrell will not return. Further, receivers coach Marc Lubick and director of sports performance Bill Hughan will also not return next season.

Wooster (D-III - OH): The College of Wooster is seeking an Offensive Assistant coach / special teams coordinator or possibly Co-Coordinator based on experience. This is a full time position with benefits. Duties include, but are not limited to, installation and management of offensive game plans, video breakdown and analysis, participation in the planning of in season and out of season practices, assist in the recruitment of outstanding student athletes, and any other duties assigned by the head coach. Nebraska: Per sources, Nebraska appears locked in and moving quickly.

Globe Institute of Technology (JC - NY): Globe Institute of Technology is looking for 3 part time defensive coaches and 3 part time offensive coaches, Linebackers coach, defensive line coach, secondary, receivers, offensive line, and quarterbacks coach. Tulsa: TCU offensive coordinator Doug Meacham will meet with Tulsa athletic director Derrick Gragg today in what is likely the first of many interviews per Tulsa's Rivals site. Gragg said on the radio yesterday that, "Over the next week to 10 days, I'll be on the road for an extensive amount of time with open-ended plane tickets..." Gragg said he expects to speak with "some sitting head coaches, former head coaches and we'll talk to coordinators". Houston Nutt mentioned that he has heard from the search firm Tulsa is using. Two days ago we did a video about some of the candidates as well.

Clemson: Per source, UAB grad assistant Cam Aiken is joining the Clemson staff as a grad assistant.

Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Defensive coordinator Rocco Salamone has resigned after one season, per source.

Auburn: Auburn's Rivals site is reporting that Will Muschamp has "been offered the defensive coordinator job and is considering the opportunity" along with other opportunities. At FootballScoop, sources tell us there is no question that Will will be coaching again, and soon enough, but we have heard as well that he and his family are taking their time and evaluating what is best for their family, along with Will's career. Will update once more is clear.

Southwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Per source, defensive line grad assistant coach Kenry Tolbert has left the staff to pursue other opportunities.

Warner (NAIA - FL): Warner University has an opening for a full time, defensive position coach. Responsibilities include player development, recruiting an area of Florida, film breakdown and analysis, and implementation of scheme.Send resume and references to bob.urwin@warner.edu. Mayville State (NAIA - ND):Mayville State is looking for a home opponent for Saturday, August 29, 2015 or Thursday, August 27, 2015. This could be a home and home agreement for 2016.
