Denver Broncos: Wade Phillips has been hired as the new defensive coordinator for Gary Kubiak and the Broncos. They've also hired Joe Woods as defensive backs coach. He previously served in a similar capacity for the Raiders, Vikings and Bucs.

Florida State: Jimbo Fisher is college football's latest $5 million man.

San Francisco 49ers: Geep Chryst will be the offensive coordinator per NFL Network's Albert Breer.

Thomas More College (D-III - KY): Head coach Jim Hilvert has resigned and accepted the head coaching position at La Salle High School in Cincinnati.

FootballScoop has crowned the statistical champions for all of college football for the 2014 season.

Washington State: New defensive coordinator Alex Grinch will make $425,000 in the first year of his deal. Grinch was making $250,000 at Missouri.

Oklahoma: Lincoln Riley's deal at Oklahoma is two years at $500,000 per.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags are adding Nathaniel Hackett as their quarterbacks coach according to Ian Rapoport. Hackett coordinated the offense for the Bills last season.

Washington Redskins: Washington has announced the hiring of former Chicago Bears quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh to the same position.

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders have offered Louisville DC Todd Grantham the same position, per Ian Rapoport. Sources have cautioned us that he very well might choose to stay. Will update... Update: Grantham has announced he will remain at Louisville.

Adams State (D-II - CO): Per source, South Florida offensive grad assistant Jon Bills will be the new offensive line coach at Adams State.

San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers have reached a two year agreement with Steve Logan to serve as their quarterbacks coach per Jeff Gravley who covers the team.

FIU: Per source, Colgate outside linebackers coach Tem Lukabu has interviewed and is a strong candidate to join the FIU staff as linebackers coach. Lukabu spent the 2012 & 2013 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following a short stint as Fordham's defensive coordinator.

Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens have finalized their coaching staff with a few in-house adjustments and new hires. Assistant defensive backs coach Chris Hewitt has been promoted to defensive backs coach, defensive quality control / linebackers coach Matt Weiss will now coach the corners, and offensive assistant Richard Angulo has been promoted to tight ends coach. Also, Former Chicago Bears tight ends coach Andy Bischoff has joined the organization as a quality control coach and Drew Wilkins (coaching staff assistant) and Mike Macdonald (intern) have been named defensive assistants.

Cleveland Browns: Joker Phillips is joining the Browns as receivers coach, per ESPN.

VMI: New head coach Scott Wachenheim has announced the addition of eight assistant coaches; Dustin Ward (OC / QBs), Gordon Sammis (OL), Brad Robbins (WRs / internal recruiting coordinator), Tom Clark (DC / secondary), Mike Saint Germain (DL / external recruiting coordinator), Justin Wood (ILBs), Justin Hamilton (OLBs / ST co-coordinator), and Josh Zidenberg (assistant secondary / ST co-coordinator). Wachenheim noted that his hire for the running backs job will be announced soon, and that hire will complete his full-time staff.

Alfred State (D-III - NY): Head coach Mick Caba will retire at the end of February after leading the program for the last 15 years. Caba is the winningest coach in program history (66 wins).

Florida A&M: Alex Wood has announced six additions to his staff; Martin Spieler (OC / QBs), Theo Lemon (DC / DL), Richard Solomon (DBs), DJ McCarthy (WRs), and Dennis Smith (TE / STC). Also, Edwin Pata, who coached the offensive line last season for FAMU, has been retained.

Missouri Baptist (NAIA): Missouri Baptist University, an NAIA school located in St. Louis, MO is looking for a defensive graduate assistant coach to start immediately. Looking for defensive line and secondary coaches, but will hire the best candidate regardless of position. Applicants must be strong in Christian faith and willing to work hard. Must be organized and proficient with Microsoft Office and Hudl. Pay is full tuition toward a Masters’ degree plus a $6,000 annual stipend. Denver Broncos: Baltimore Ravens assistant special teams coach Tony Coaxum has been hired to the same position in Denver, per SI.

San Bernardino Valley (CC - CA): Sources tell us that San Bernardino has posted their head coaching position.

Hartwick (D-III - NY): Defensive coordinator Mike Tracy will not return, per source.

Upper Iowa (D-II - IA): Per source, the Peacocks' defensive coordinator Orv Otten is stepping down to pursue a career in private business.

Florida A&M (FCS): Head coach Alex Wood has formally announced the hirings of Martin Spieler (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Theo Lemon (defensive coordinator/defensive line), Richard Solomon (defensive backs), Donald McCarthy (wide receivers) and Dennis R. Smith (tight ends/special teams). Offensive line coach Edwin Pata has been retained.

Washington Redskins: Washington has hired Perry Fewell as defensive backs coach and Mike Clark as strength coach.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags have hired Kelly Skipper as running backs coach according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.

Texas Tech: Defensive coordinator David Gibbs will earn $550,000 annually as part of a two-year deal, per the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. While there is no buyout if he leaves for a head coaching job, or NFL job, Gibbs would owe $200,000 if he leaves for another Big 12 job, or $25,000 for an assistant coaching job outside of the Big 12.

San Francisco 49ers: Philadelphia Eagles receivers coach Bob Bicknell is among the candidates for the open offensive coordinator job according to Albert Breer. Also, the Sacramento Bee is reporting that former Niners defensive lineman Aubrayo Franklin will join the staff as a defensive assistant.
