Texas A&M: FootballScoop has learned that UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone will be the new offensive coordinator at A&M.

Tampa Bay: The Bucs have fired Lovie Smith. Read more here.

Jackson State (FCS): Per source, Arkansas Pine Bluff defensive line coach Dwayne Curry will join the Jackson State staff in the same capacity.

Florida Atlantic: The Owls will hire Concord (W. Va.) head coach Garin Justice as offensive line coach. Justice played for Rick Trickett at West Virginia and coached under him at Florida State; Trickett's son Travis is FAU's offensive coordinator.

Texas State: Per source, Texas State plans to make James Madison head coach Everett Withers their new head coach. More here.

Ole Miss: Ole Miss has announced a contract extension for head coach Hugh Freeze averaging $4.925 million annually over the life of the four-year deal. In addition to that, Freeze's assistant salary pool will grow from $3.11 million to $4.26 million, and the budget for support staff will rise $260,000.

New York Jets: Bobby April will not return as special teams coordinator according to Kimberly Martin of Newsday.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts have officially announced that they've parted ways with defensive coordinator Greg Manusky as well as Roy Anderson (safeties), Mike Gillhamer (secondary), Roger Marandino (head of strength and conditioning), Alfredo Roberts (TEs) and Charlie Williams (RBs).

Texas A&M: According to multiple reports, Washington athletic director Scott Woodward will be the new athletic director at Texas A&M. Dan Wolken was among the first to report the move yesterday, and Billy Liucci (who is very plugged in around College Station) is confirming the move.

Ball State: As we have been reporting, Bruce Feldman (Fox Sports) is now reporting that Mike Neu is expected to be the new head coach at Ball State

Northern Illinois: The additions of defensive coordinator Kevin Kane and offensive coordinator Mike Uremovich have been announced.

Texas A&M: Sources tell FootballScoop that TCU co-OC Doug Meacham will not be the next offensive coordinator at A&M.

St. Louis Rams: The Rams will not renew the contracts of Ben Sirmans (RBs), Ray Sherman (WRs), Jeff Garcia (offensive assistant), Paul F. Boudreau (assistant special teams), and Adam Bailey (assistant strength).

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have filed a formal request to interview Tampa Bay director of player personnel Jon Robinson for their GM job.

UTEP: MinerRush is reporting that former Univ of Washington receivers coach Brent Pease will be the new offensive coordinator at UTEP. We can confirm that Brent is the choice. We hear it might not be official for a few more days though.

Texas State: TCU co-offensive coordinator Doug Meacham has turned down an offer to be Texas State's head coach, according to Brett McMurphy.

Rutgers: Chris Ash has hired former North Texas assistant Nick Quartaro as director of player development.

Northwest Missouri State's Rich Wright has been named Division II Coordinator of the Year, presented by ProGrass

Georgia: Former UAB running backs coach Blaine Miller has joined the Georgia staff in a quality control role, per source.

UCF: UCF has announced the additions of Philadelphia Eagles assistant offensive line coach Greg Austin as the new offensive line coach, Oregon linebackers coach Erik Chinander as defensive coordinator and Marcus Castro-Walker as director of player development.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have confirmed that they completed their interview with Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase earlier today.

Western Michigan: Former Wyoming wide receivers coach Kenni Burns is the new running backs coach at Western Michigan, according to a report from SI. Yesterday, Mike Hart left WMU for the running backs job at Syracuse.

Samford (FCS - AL): Per source, receivers coach Russ Callaway will be promoted to offensive coordinator.

Georgia Southern: UCF offensive line coach Allen Mogridge will be the new offensive line coach at Georgia Southern. Mogridge was also a candidate at Nevada.

Scoop him up:Former Syracuse Director of Football Operations Drew Robinson spent the past season at his alma mater coordinating all team logistics for Scott Shafer and his staff. Robinson started his career at Rutgers as an operations assistant before moving over to the recruiting office where he oversaw the day-to-day recruiting operations during the 2008-2009 recruiting cycles. Robinson returned to Rutgers in 2012 as the Director of Branding & Social Media for the football program where he introduced the nation to the first augmented reality enhanced camp brochure. Robinson was promoted to Assistant AD for Creative Services and was the point person for all Rutgers Football marketing and special events. His experience working in all aspects of a division one program both in the football office and on the administrative side would be extremely valuable to your program. Robinson has worked closely with guys like Ohio State DC Greg Schiano, Ole Miss Assistant AD for Recruiting Chris Rippon, Bucknell Head Coach Joe Susan and IMG College chief Tim Pernetti.

Northern Illinois: Kansas linebackers coach Kevin Kane will be the new defensive coordinator at NIU, per SI.

USC: Source tells FootballScoop that barring any contractual issues, Clancy Pendergast intends to accept the defensive coordinator role at USC.

Tennessee: Defensive coordinator John Jancek will not return. Sources tell FootballScoop that Butch Jones has been considering a number of candidates. Unclear yet who has best shot; but hear it could be someone under the radar.

Baltimore Ravens: Assistant GM Eric DeCosta has decided to stay in Baltimore and turned down an interview for the Titans GM job, per Albert Breer.

Kentucky: Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran's salary will be $650,000 in 2016, and quarterbacks / co-OC Darin Hinshaw will make $400,000 per Jon Hale of the C-J. Gran's contract runs through June 2019 while Hinshaw's runs through June 2018.

Middle Tennessee: Sources tell us that MTSU plans to promote tackles and tight ends coach Rick Mallory to offensive line coach and running backs coach Mike Polly is expected to move to tackles and tight ends coach.

Virginia Tech: Per source, Central Arkansas (FCS) graduate assistant Steven Campbell has accepted a grad assistant job on Justin Fuente's staff.

Western State (D-II - CO): Western State is accepting applications for an offensive graduate assistant (Wide Receivers). Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience is preferred. Should have completed Undergraduate degree in Exercise Sport Science or relative field. Candidate must apply and be accepted into the High Altitude Exercise Physiology Master of Science program to be considered. Utah: Kyle Whittingham has formally announced the hire of Guy Holliday as wide receivers coach. Additionally, Lewis Powell will take over the defensive line after coaching the tight ends last season, and the tight ends will ow be coached by Fred Whittingham Jr., who served as director of player personnel the past four seasons.

Cleveland Browns: Dallas secondary coach Jerome Henderson will interview with the Browns, per Ian Rapoport.

Highland CC (KS): Highland Community College has an immediate opening for a restricted earnings offensive coach. In addition to a monthly stipend, on campus housing is included. Fullerton College (CC - CA): Fullerton College is seeking to hire an assistant football coach that can also teach full-time in the Division of Physical Education. This is a unique opportunity for a highly sought tenured-track football coaching position at one of the premiere football programs in the California Community Colleges. The committee seeks highly qualified candidates with college and/or professional experience to coach on either offense or defense, depending on need. Organizational and leadership skills consistent with coordinating offensive and/or defensive schemes are desired. In addition to coaching, the job description also requires the applicant to teach a variety of physical education activity and lecture courses, monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, perform fundraising activities, and develop strong recruiting strategies. The candidate must possess knowledge of CCCAA constitution, NCAA,and NAIA transfer guidelines. The annual salary schedule runs between $80,000 to $90,000 but with the additional coaching stipend could approach $100,000, depending on initial salary placement. Ball State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Ball State, as expected, offered their head coaching position to New Orleans Saints quarterbacks coach Mike Neu last night.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles will interview Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase for a second time this weekend according to Ian Rapoport.

Oregon: As mentioned below, Clancy Pendergast is a candidate at USC for their defensive coordinator position; but sources tell FootballScoop that Oregon is also strongly considering Pendergast for their open defensive coordinator position. Will update once this plays out.

Maryland: Per source, special teams quality control coach Alberto Cordero will not return at Maryland.

Midland University (NAIA - NE): Per source, former Concordia St. Paul head coach Ryan Williams is joining the staff at offensive coordinator and Mike Caputo (former Nebraska offensive quality control under Bo Pelini) will be the new offensive line coach for Jeff Jamrog's staff.

Coahoma CC (MS): Per source, Tabor College (NAIA - KS) defensive coordinator Steven Miller will be the new head coach at Coahoma Community College.

Utah: BYU wide receivers coach Guy Holliday will coach wide receivers at Utah according to SI.

Texas State: Despite being named in a San Marcos newspaper report yesterday, a source tells us SMU running backs coach Claude Mathis is not a candidate at Texas State.

USC: 49ers linebackers coach Clancy Pendergast has interviewed for the USC defensive coordinator position. Pendergast was the Trojans DC back in 2013 before joining the Niners.

LSU: Secondary coach Corey Raymond has signed a contract extension that will keep him in Baton Rouge through the 2017 season worth $375,000 annually, per Nola.com. Raymond made $310,000 last season.

Boston College: Iowa linebackers coach Jim Reid has accepted the defensive coordinator job, per multiple reports. Reid previously served as defensive coordinator at BC in 1994 before leaving for the head coaching job at Richmond (FCS - VA) for nine seasons.

Indianapolis Colts: Per Alex Marvez, Baltimore Ravens linebackers coach Ted Monachino is a strong candidate for the Colts defensive coordinator job.

Maryland: Per source, former Syracuse director of recruiting Eric White is heading to Maryland and will serve in a player personnel role.

Georgia Southern: Valdosta HS (GA) head coach Rance Gillespie will join the Georgia Southern staff.

Calgary Stamepeders (Canada): General manager John Hufnagel has announced a number of additions to the operations and scouting staff for 2016. Cole Hufnagel will be the director of US scouting after spending nine seasons with the Jets, Brendan Mahoney has been named director of Canadian scouting, Kyle Carson has been appointed scout / football operations coordinator, and Michael Petrie will return in his role as assistant GM / director of football operations.

Virginia: All nine assistant coaches on Bronco Mendenhall's staff at UVA have signed two-year deals according to The Daily Progress, and salary details are as follows; OC Robert Anae ($550,000), DC Nick Howell ($400,000), assistant HC / inside linebackers coach Ruffin McNeill ($450,000), outside linebackers coach / STC Kelly Poppinga ($300,000), WRs coach Marques Hagans ($175,000), QBs coach Jason Beck ($300,000), OL coach Garett Tujague ($350,000), RBs coach Mark Atuaia ($250,000), DL coach Shane Hunter ($150,000). Just as a reminder, Bronco has a five-year deal starting at $3.25 million per. Bonuses for the assistant coaches include a month's base pay for making a bowl game, two months for making the CFB Playoff, and three months pay for winning the national title.

Delta State (D-II - MS): Lanier Goethie has been named defensive coordinator, Tyler Hasty will coach the wide receivers, defensive graduate assistant Nick Popiel has been promoted to secondary coach, and Jonathan Fletcher will handle the RBs / TEs / strength and conditioning.

Independence CC (JC - KS): Head coach Jason Brown has made a number of hires. Former Garden City (JC - KS) defensive backs coach Jason Martin will be the defensive coordinator, Anthony Nunley (spent the last four years at Prairie View A&M coaching the DL) will coach the defensive line and handle strength and conditioning, Kevin Haun will coach the linebackers, VanDyke Jones (retained from the previous staff) will coach the running backs, and Donte Ellington will handle the DFO duties and coach the receivers.

Lane College (D-II - TN):Lane College is looking for a guarantee game September 17, 2016, preferably FCS. If interested call head coach / athletic director Derrick Burroughs at 731-421-7461.

Willamette (D-III - OR): Willamette University has an immediate opening for an offensive assistant (WR). This is an 11 month position and will pay $7,000 plus housing.
