Virginia State (D-II): Richmond inside linebackers coach Byron Thweatt will be the new head coach at Virginia State.

Memphis: Per source, former Tulsa defensive coordinator Brent Guy will join the Memphis staff as a position coach on the defensive side.

Michigan: San Francisco 49ers assistant strength coach Kevin Tolbert will be the new strength coach according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.

Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Catholic High (Baton Rouge, LA) defensive coordinator Anthony Camp will be the new defensive line coach at Nicholls.

San Diego State: Former Florida running backs coach Brian White is expected to be the new quarterbacks coach at San Diego State, per sources.

Michigan: Per source, Michigan has offered 49ers assistant secondary coach Greg Jackson the defensive backs role, subject to customary clearances.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles are scheduling an interview with Houston director of pro personnel Brian Gaine for their GM position, per Albert Breer.

Utah State: Utah State is looking to hire an assistant director of player personnel. Click here for details and to apply for the position.

Pikeville (NAIA - KY): Pikeville has an open date on September 12, 2015 with corresponding date in 2016. Looking for a home and home, but will consider one year deal. Must be a home game in 2015. Teams with interest please contact justinlamb@upike.edu for more information.

Vanderbilt: Per Ian Rapoport, Philadelphia Eagles assistant defensive backs coach Todd Lyght will be the new corners coach at Vandy. We can confirm the hire.

Adrian College (D-III - MI): Adrian College is seeking applicants for an intern level position working with an offensive or defensive skill position. Compensation will include a $7,500 stipend, housing, meals, and a partial tuition waiver. BC Lions (CFL): According to Greg Auman, Jeff Tedford has hired former Cal offensive coordinator / quarterbacks George Cortez as his offensive coordinator with the Lions.

St. Joseph's College (D-II - IN): Saint Joseph’s College, located in Rensselaer, IN has an immediate opening for the position of an assistant coach. This position will be on the defensive side of the ball with experience coaching linebackers or defensive backs preferred. The position will also serve as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the football program. This is a full-time (10-month) position that will report to the head football coach. Preferences include; Collegiate coaching experience (or other significant coaching experiences) working with linebackers or defensive backs, coordinating strength & conditioning program, recruiting experience, video breakdown, analysis and editing with Hudl. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. The compensation for this position is low 20’s with housing and benefits included. Saint Joseph’s College is an equal opportunity employer. NY Giants: The team has also announced that secondary / corners coach Peter Giunta will not return. Giunta came to the Giants in 2006.

San Jose State: Per source, former Michigan offensive coordinator Al Borges expected to be named offensive coordinator at San Jose State.

Michigan: Per source, Jimmie Dougherty has accepted a position on the staff at Michigan.

BC Lions (CFL): Offensive line coach Dan Dorazio, defensive line coach Carl Hairston, running backs coach Kelly Bates, and receivers coach Joe Paopao will not be a part of new head coach Jeff Tedford's staff, the team has announced.

Southwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Head coach Dan Cocannouer has announced the hire of Justin Iske as the new offensive line coach. Iske coached the offensive line at Fort Hays State the past four seasons.

Millikin (D-III - IL): Per source, Northern Illinois offensive intern Chase Gruening has accepted a full time defensive line / strength and conditioning coordinator job at Millikin.

Oberlin (D-III - OH): Oberlin College is no longer accepting applications for its offensive coordinator / quarterbacks position. Resumes are currently being reviewed. Thank you for the overwhelming interest in the position.

Nebraska: The hirings of Danny Langsdorf (OC), Reggie Davis, (RBs), Hank Hughes (DL), and Charlton Warren (secondary) have now been formally announced by the university.

Georgia: Georgia has named St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer as to the same post. He will also coach the Bulldogs' quarterbacks.

Notre Dame College (D-II - OH): Notre Dame College is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant position working with the defensive backfield. Experience coaching on the defensive side of the football or playing DB is preferred. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the defensive backfield, film breakdown, scouting reports, a designated recruiting area, equipment responsibilities, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Included as part of the assistantship is tuition, a meal plan, housing, and a stipend TBD. The prospective candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, gain admittance into the graduate program, and have a valid driver’s license. Southeastern University (NAIA - FL): Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL is in its second year of competition in football and is looking to schedule games (home and away) for the Fall 2015 season. Prefer NAIA and NCAA III teams. Open dates are August 29, November 7, November 14, and September 26 is a possibility. Open to paying a guarantee for home games. St. Augustine (D-II - NC): St. Augustine is no longer accepting resumes for their open defensive positions. Thank you for the overwhelming interest in the position.

Washington Redskins: Multiple outlets are now confirming that Scot McCloughan and the Redskins have reached an agreement to make him the new GM.

Wisconsin: Paul Chryst has secured Joe Rudolph as his offensive coordinator, and is looking to add Matt House (defensive line) and John Settle (running backs) from Pitt, according to Andy Baggot.

LA Tech: Per source, former SFA head coach Robert McFarland will be the new offensive line coach at Louisiana Tech. McFarland, who also previously served as Iowa State's offensive coordinator, currently serves as offensive coordinator / offensive line at Copiah-Lincoln (CC-MS).

Butler CC (KS): Defensive coordinator Tim Schaffner has been promoted to head coach. Schaffner has been the defensive coordinator for the past 10 seasons.

Central Missouri: Per source, former Wayne State College (D-II - NE) offensive coordinator John McMenamin, has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Central Missouri.

NY Giants: The Giants have parted ways with defensive coordinator Perry Fewell, according to Adam Schefter.

Livingstone College (D-II - NC):Livingstone College is looking for a game on September 5th of 2015. If interested, email dwilliams@livingstone.edu.

Ole Miss: Corey Batoon will be named the final assistant, filling the position opened with Tom Allen left per Chase Parham who covers the Rebels. Batoon, who was with Freeze at A-State and since his hire at Ole Miss, had been serving as assistant AD for recruiting operations and coached in the bowl game following Allen's departure.

Wyoming: Per source, Curt Mallory will be the new defensive backs coach and pass game coordinator at Wyoming. Mallory previously served as the secondary coach at Michigan.

Wingate (D-II - NC): Wingate University (D2, South Atlantic Conference) is looking for a game on September 12, 2015. Can do home and home. Would prefer to be at Wingate in 2015. Contact Joe Reich at reich@wingate.edu if interested.

New Orleans Saints: Multiple reports out of New Orleans state that defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will return for the 2015 season. NOLA.com adds that changes to the defensive staff will be made.

Saint Francis (NAIA - IL): University of Saint Francis (IL) has an opening for a defensive grad assistant. Stipend of $4,000, classes, and partial meals will be provided. Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL): Cleveland Gladiators (AFL) assistant head coach / defensive coordinator Ron Selesky has accepted a position as the director of US Scouting for the Roughriders, per source.

Concord (D-II - WV): Concord University located in Athens, WV is looking for a game home or away on November 14th. We are open to all D2, FCS, and NAIA possibilities. Please contact athletic director Kevin Garrett at garrettad@concord.edu if interested.

Scottsdale CC (AZ): Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, AZ is looking for both offensive and defensive assistant coaches. The positions are all part time and will carry with them a stipend.
