Former Kutztown State College head coach George Baldwin has passed away. Please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Texas: Former Longhorns defensive coordinator Greg Robinson has been hired as a football analyst. 

Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): Former Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams will coach on the staff at UIW this Fall according to head coach Larry Kennan's agent. 

Bethany College (NAIA - KS): Charlie Carpenter has been hired as the offensive line coach. The move reunites Carpenter with head coach Manny Matsakis from their time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. 

Wilkes University (D-III - PA): Wilkes University, in Wilkes Barre, PA invites applications for a part-time football defensive coaching position. There will be a stipend based upon experience and skill set. There is no housing or benefits provided. The review of applications will begin immediately and the position will be filled as soon as possible. This position will begin on August 1, 2013 and continue until the end of the season. Colorado: Rick George has been named the Buffs' new athletic director. George was previously the president of business operations for the Texas Rangers. 

Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades (JC - PA): Head coach Bill Michaels has decided to step down from the head football coaching position, but will remain as head basketball coach. Offensive coordinator Dan Drake, who has been on staff for eight years, has been named interim head coach for the 2013 season.

Itasca (CC- MN): Sources tell us that former Rutgers receiver Donny Diaz has joined the staff and will coach the defensive backs.

Kilgore College (JC - TX): Kilgore College is seeking for a running backs coach. It is a part-time position that will include a stipend along with room and board. Bachelor’s degree is required. West Alabama: Former New York Giants linebacker Clint Sintim will join the staff for the duration of the 2013 season as part of the NFL Players association Coaching Internship program.

Methodist University (D-III - NC): A few changes have been made to the coaching staff. Mike Maraschiello will move from the offensive line to the running backs and Ralph Ord will coach the guards and centers after coaching the corners in the spring. Also, Cory Dowless (who was an all conference player at ECU) has been hired to coach the tackles and tight ends and Brad Walworth (an assistant coach at Pine Forest HS, NC) has been hired to assist with the tackles and tight ends

John Carroll (D-III - OH): Former Tennessee video intern Cody Edwards has joined the John Carroll staff as a defensive assistant.

Methodist University (D-III - NC): Methodist University is seeking 2 entry level Intern Assistant Football Coaches with DB or Offensive Skill playing and / or coaching experience. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Appointment begins immediately and concludes December 31, 2013. Compensation includes a stipend, housing and meals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assist in coaching a position, recruiting, academic monitoring and support, video, scouting, equipment control, serve as a liaison for Academic and Student Success initiatives of the University and assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the program. UNC-Wimington: Deputy athletic director Pat Howey has announced his retirement, effective at the end of August. 

Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Finalists for the open athletic director position have been announced: Northern Iowa senior associate AD Jean Berger, Bowling Green associate AD for external affairs Mary Ellen Gillispie, Bemidji State athletic director Rick Goeb and Wisconsin-Whitewater athletic director Paul Plinskie. 

Tampa Bay Bucs: Former Jets assistant general manager Scott Cohen has been added to the Bucs front office as a senior personnel advisor.

South Dakota School of Mines (D-II): Sources tell us that George Booker has joined the coaching staff and will coach the defensive line. Additionally, athletic director Dick Kaiser has stepped down from his post.
