Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Per source, Miami special teams quality control Billy Furman has joined the staff. 

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Per source, former Valdosta State GA Mike Cannon has accepted a position on the Northwestern State staff. 

Texas College (NAIA): Head coach George Cumby has resigned to become the athletics director at Tyler Bishop T.K. Gorman (TX) according to KLTV in Tyler.

Green Bay Packers: Ted Thompson, the team's executive vice president, GM, and director of football operations, has signed a new multi-year contract team president / CEO Mark Murphy has announced. Thompson is entering his tenth season with the Packers organization.

Montreal Alouettes (Canada): Hall of Fame head coach Don Matthews, and former NFL quarterback Turk Schonert have been added to the coaching staff as consultants. Matthews led the team to two Grey Cup appearances from 2002-2006 and is the all-time leader in CFL coaching victories (231) and Grey Cup wins as a head coach (5).

University of Chicago (D-III - IL): Per source, defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Justin Weaver has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Cumberland (NAIA - TN): Cumberland University has an immediate opening for a defensive graduate assistant coach. Responsibilities include assisting the defensive staff, video editing and breakdown, recruiting, assisting with equipment management, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Colby (D-III - ME): Colby College seeks a part-time assistant football coach, beginning August 7, 2014. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all duties involved in running a competitive football program including but not limited to: recruiting; travel; video breakdown; helping to plan and implement practices and other duties as assigned by the head coach. A bachelor’s degree is required, previous college playing and/or coaching experience is preferred, and the ability to work as a member of a diverse community is necessary. Fairleigh Dickinson (D-III - NJ): Fairleigh Dickinson University has an opening for a intern assistant coach position for immediate hire that will last until May. Compensation will be $6,500 and nine credits toward a Master’s degree. Many opportunities for professional development will be covered and there will be money available for the NCAA Convention. There are also opportunities to earn money out of season on campus. There is no housing, meals or benefits included. Augustana (D-III - IL): Augustana College is looking for immediate hire for an offensive intern (OL). Pay is $10,000-12,000 for 10 months. Inexpensive on-campus housing available if single. Oberlin (D-III - OH): Head coach Jay Anderson has announced the additions of Adam Schmidt (DL / player performance), Adam Sopkovich (WRs), and Mo Watts (LBs). Scmidt worked as the defensive line coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania since 2008, Sopkovich spent last year as the head coach at Warrensville Heights HS (OH), and Watts served as a grad assistant at Miami (OH) the last two seasons.

CoachComm: CoachComm is seeking a regional sales manager to cover the states of Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia and Indiana. Candidate will be responsible for selling of the CoachComm Headset product line as well as practice management and sound systems. Customer base includes D2, D3 NAIA, JUCO and High Schools. Rhodes College (D-III - TN): Head coach Dan Gritti has hired two assistant coaches. White Station HS (TN) defensive coordinator Pete Cordelli will coach the running backs and Walsh University (D-II - OH) assistant defensive backs coach will be in charge of the defensive backs. Cordelli has had previous coaching stops at Notre Dame, Western Michigan, Arkansas, Minnesota, Memphis, and is the former head coach at Kent State.
