Iowa Western (CC): Per source, East Texas Baptist (D-III) assistant Bryan Jones will be Iowa Western's new running backs coach and strength & conditioning coordinator.

Carolina Panthers: After undergoing treatment the past six weeks to treat prostate cancer, special teams coordinator Bruce DeHaven has returned to the field. "I'm so thankful," he said.

Illinois College (D-III - IL): Illinois College is seeking a part time, 10 month assistant coach. The position will be responsible for coaching the defensive backs, recruiting quality student-athletes and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The College of DuPage (JC - IL): The College of DuPage is seeking qualified applicants, locals preferred, for an assistant football coach working with the either defensive line or secondary. Other duties include on field coaching, film breakdowns, practice planning, game planning, game day responsibilities, recruiting evaluations, recruiting area, and any other duties assigned by the head coach that will be tied in with this position. Playing experience/coaching experience at either high school or college level desired. Applicants must possess a bachelor degree and strong communication skills with the ability to recruit student-athletes. This is a 10 month stipend position. Clarion (D-II - PA): Clarion University is seeking applicants for an offensive and defensive student-assistant coaching positions. These positions are intended for individuals who are in an undergraduate or graduate program. Individuals will receive a 20 hour per/week stipend. Position could be combined with a Community Assistant position which includes housing and meals. Previous football coaching or playing experience is required. New Orleans Saints: Per source, Tennessee director of scouting Cody Rager is headed to the New Orleans Saints to be their Southeastern scout.

A possible early signing period has been tabled for at least a year.

Tennessee: We understand that Tennessee has already identified the person who will replace director or scouting Cody Rager (see above).

Toledo: The University of Toledo is looking to hire an offensive graduate assistant. Previous collegiate experience coaching or playing is preferred. West Georgia: The University of West Georgia has an opening for a student assistant position working primarily with the defense. New Mexico Highlands (D-II): Per source, defensive line coach / director of football operations Tony Pavlic has stepped down.
