Stanford: Sources tell us that Stanford has hired New York Jets assistant offensive coordinator Mike Bloomgren as run game coordinator.

ULM: Our sources have just told us that Central Arkansas defensive backs / assistant head coach Perry Eliano has accepted the corners job at ULM.

Georgia: Our sources tell us that Mark Richt has hired Kirk Olivadotti to coach the linebackers. Olivadotti has been serving as the Washington Redskins defensive assistant.

Maryland: We hear UMASS defensive coordinator Keith Dudzinski has accepted a position on Randy Edsall's staff at Maryland. Our source tells us Todd Bradford will serve as the defensive coordinator for the Terps and Dudzinski will coach the inside linebackers.

Cincinnati: Our sources tell us recruiting assistant Troy Everhart has interviewed for the Middletown HS head coaching job.

Guilford College: Looking for Linebackers Coach - Part-Time - No Housing or Meals - ($2,000 - $4,000 Stipend). Position will coach linebackers and assist with all other coaching duties. Please send resume to

Nebraska-Kearney: Our sources tell us that Hanford HS (WA) assistant Tom Everson has accepted the defensive line job.

Nebraska: John Garrison is being promoted to a full-time position.

Virginia Tech: Billy Hite has moved from running backs to senior advisor / assistant to the head coach. There is also a report that former Virginia Tech player Cornell Brown will accept a position on the staff. Brown played for the Ravens from 1997-2004.

Norwich University: Defensive coordinator Mark Murnyack has been promoted to head coach.

Arizona Cardinals: Passing game coordinator Mike Miller has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

Indianapolis Colts: Ron Turner moves from wide receivers to quarterbacks. Offensive assistant Frank Reich will now serve as the wide receivers coach. Jim Bob Cooter will now serve as the assistant to the offensive coordinator.

Louisville: Our sources tell us former Nebraska offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Shawn Watson will be named quarterbacks coach at Louisville.

North Carolina: We hear Butch Davis has talked with Randy Melvin, who coached the Rutgers defensive line this year.

Virginia: We have just learned that head coach Mike London is moving tight ends coach Scott Wachenheim to offensive line. There is not a full-time position open on the UVA staff.

Nebraska: Running backs coach Tim Beck has been promoted to offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Ron Brown will coach the running backs. Rich Fisher will serve as the wide receivers coach.

Stanford: We have learned that Western Kentucky quarterbacks / passing game coordinator Mike Sanford Jr accepted the running backs job at Stanford.

Hartford Colonials: We hear Hartford has interest in talking with Eric Mangini about the head coaching job.

Nebraska: We have learned that special teams coordinator / defensive ends coach John Papuchis has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Illinois State: We are hearing that offensive assistant Dan Shula has been promoted to wide receivers coach.

Tennessee Titans: Our sources tell us that Auburn defensive line coach Tracy Rocker has accepted the defensive line job with the Tennessee Titans.

Ashland University: Our sources tell us that Green HS head coach Tom Stacy has accepted the tight ends / running backs job at Ashland University. Also, a different source tells us that Jeff Kastl, who previously coached the tight ends / running backs, will be promoted to offensive coordinator / quarterbacks / wide receivers coach.
