Montana State: Stephen F. Austin assistant defensive backs coach Brandon North has accepted the same position at Montana State.

Minnesota: Our sources tell us Jerry Kill will promote offensive quality control Brian Anderson to running backs coach.

Wisconsin: Our sources tell us that Minnesota running backs coach Thomas Hammock has accepted the running backs job at Wisconsin.

Colorado School of Mines: Our sources tell us that former Tarleton State offensive coordinator Scott Carey accepted the offensive line / run game coordinator job at Colorado School of Mines.

Indiana State: We are hearing that Jesse Minter will now serve as the defensive coordinator in addition to coaching the defensive backs.

Grambling State: We hear Vyron Brown, who recently joined the Alcorn State staff, is now heading to Grambling as the offensive coordinator. Our sources also tell us that Kalvin Person will be joining the staff on the defensive side of the ball.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College: is looking for a restricted earnings offensive assistant that will be be in charge of video breakdowns and cutups. Experience with APEX or DSV will be a major plus. This job entails uploading video and time coding each practice tape as well as inputting data into the computer for opponent breakdowns, self scouting, creating player highlight tapes and film swap. The coach will also be in charge of his own position on offense. The position comes with a stipend, free dorm room, and meal ticket. Auburn: Former Minnesota defensive line coach Tim Cross and current Louisville defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Clint Hurtt are candidates to fill the defensive line job at Auburn.

South Carolina: John Butler has accepted the special teams coordinator position. Steve Spurrier Jr. will now serve as the recruiting coordinator in addition to his other responsibilities as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. Bulter served as the special teams coordinator / linebackers coach for the Minnesota Gophers this past season.

Grambling State: We hear Tampa Bay Tech HS head coach CC Culpepper has accepted the defensive backs / special teams job.

San Francisco 49ers: Michael Christianson has been named coordinator of football information technology / offensive quality control. He previously worked as a product specialist for XOS.

Omaha Nighthawks: Our sources tell us that Bridgewater College offensive line coach Robert Hunt accepted the assistant offensive line / quality control job with the Nighthawks.

Southern University (LA): Defensive line coach O'Neill Gilbert is moving to linebackers. Former North Carolina A&T defensive coordinator Tayrone Odums has accepted the defensive line job.

Oklahoma: Bob Stoops will earn $4.875 million next season.

Oklahoma State: Offensive line coach Joe Wickline will now make $400,000, up from the $325,000 he earned this past season. Wide receivers coach Kasey Dunn and running backs coach Jemal Singleton will earn $180,000.

Indiana State: North Putnam HS (IN) head coach Greg Barrett has accepted the running backs / tight ends / special teams job at Indiana State.

Birmingham Southern: Our sources tell us that Ware County HS (GA) assistant Gerald Anderson has accepted the defensive line job at Birmingham Southern.

Southern University (LA): We hear that former Baylor and University of Buffalo assistant Gerald Carr has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Southern.
