Baylor: Just recapping a couple of positional changes by Baylor...Philip Montgomery (QBs & RBs) now has the offensive coordinator title, Randy Clements (OL) is now running game coordinator while Kendall Briles (receivers) now is passing game coordinator. Jeff Lebby has been promoted from assistant director of operations to a full-time coach (he'll either coach the running backs or tight ends / offensive line). Tate Wallis, who was the offensive grad assistant, has taken over as assistant director of operations. 

Idaho: Running backs coach Jason Gesser is moving to quarterbacks. 

North Park University (D-III - IL): We hear offensive coordinator / assistant head coach Todd Winter is leaving to become head coach at Pinecrest Academy in Atlanta, GA. 

Purdue: Danny Hope has hired Kevin Wolthausen to coach his defensive line. Wolthausen has been coaching the defensive line in the UFL for the Las Vegas Locomotives for the past few seasons. 

Coffeyville Community College: Coffeyville has a position open on the defensive side of the ball. Position includes housing, meals and a stipend. Looking to fill quickly. Interested candidates should send resume to defensive coordinator Paige Anders at

Northern Illinois: We learned this afternoon that NIU plans to hire Mike Dunbar as offensive coordinator. Dunbar most recently served as offensive coordinator at New Mexico State for the 2010 season and previously served as OC at Minnesota and Cal. 

St. Olaf College (Div III - MN): St. Olaf College is looking for a game on Sept. 8th, 2012. One year contract and willing to travel if necessary. Please contact Head Coach Jerry Olszewski ( if interested. 

Waldorf College: We hear that Elzie Anderson, defensive coordinator at Independence CC (KS), will be named defensive coordinator at Waldorf. 

Marshall: Doc Holliday has officially announced the addition of Lytrel Pollard to coach the corners and Geep Wade to coach the guards and centers. Offensive coordinator Bill Legg will coach the tackles and tight ends.

Buffalo Bills: Vanderbilt offensive quality control Charles Huff has been hired by the Bills. Huff will have the offensive assistant title.

Chicago Bears: The Bears have hired for Tampa Bay assistant Tim Holt as offensive line coach. 

Ohio Wesleyan: We have learned that Baldwin Wallace defensive backs / special teams coordinator Tom Watts will become the new head coach at Ohio Wesleyan. 

Carroll University (D-III - WI): Carroll is looking for non conference games for week #2 in both 2014 and 2015. Please contact head coach Mark Krzykowski at ">

Green Bay: Ben McAdoo who was coaching the tight ends, will now coach the quarterbacks. 

Mars Hill College (D-II - NC): Mars Hill is looking to fill two open dates. Preferably a home and away (either order). September 8th, 2012 and September 7th, 2013. Please contact Tim Clifton (828.689.1375) or Damien Gary (828.689.1371). 

Kentucky Christian: Sources tell us Louisburg College defensive backs coach Andy Denryter has been hired as special teams coordinator / assistant offensive line coach at KCU. 

Augsburg College: Augsburg has filled it's grad assistant position in hiring former player Jason Potts. 

Arizona State: We hear that former Saguaro HS (AZ) head coach John Sanders has been hired as coordinator of football operations, and former player Rudy Burgess will join the staff in an off the field role after a brief career in professional football. Bo Graham (Todd's son) has been brought on staff to serve as the on campus recruiting coordinator. Graham spent last season at Pitt as the head graduate assistant and assistant receivers coach. Update> Arizona State has officially confirmed the hires.

Notre Dame: We are hearing reports out of South Bend offensive assistant Tony Alford has interviewed with the Packers.

Arizona Cardinals: Adam Schefter is reporting that Frank Reich has been hired as the receivers coach with the Cardinals.

Central Michigan: The school has announced a one year extension for head coach Dan Enos. The new extension goes through the 2015 season.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Kansas State head coach Ron Prince has been hired as the assistant offensive line coach.

Howard Payne: We hear Howard Payne has identified their next offensive line coach. We'll keep you posted. 

Dallas Cowboys: Former Tampa Bay defensive backs coach Joe Baker will join the Cowboys as assistant defensive backs coach per FoxSports.

Nevada: We have learned that former Hawaii offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich has been hired as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. 

Rutgers: As we told you last week, Kyle Flood is filling out the staff. We have learned that Bethune-Cookman offensive coordinator Rob Spence will join the staff. Details to come...

Eastern Michigan: Sources close to the program have confirmed to us that former Fresno State defensive coordinator Randy Stewart will join the staff as linebackers coach. 

Hanover (D-III - IN): We have confirmed that defensive backs / recruiting coordinator / head strength coach (and Hanover alum) Steve Baudendistel will take over as head coach. 

Southwestern University (D-III - TX): We have learned that Joe Austin, head coach at Hanover, will be named head coach at Southwestern. 

Kansas State: CBS Sports is reporting that Tom Hayes will be promoted to defensive coordinator and former Washington assistant Mike Cox will join the staff coaching the linebackers. 

Idaho State: We have learned that outside linebackers coach Ryan Smaha will move to running backs coach. 

Tampa Bay: Alex Marvez of FoxSports is reporting that Jimmy Raye has been hired as senior offensive assistant and that former North Carolina offensive coordinator John Shoop is interviewing for the offensive coordinator job. 

Tennessee Titans: Marvez also reporting that the Titans have hired Jonathan Gannon as defensive quality control. Gannon was a scout for the Rams.

Saint Francis University (FCS - PA): Saint Francis is no longer accepting applications for the offensive coordinator position. 

Texas State: Dennis Franchione has announced the addition of Jeff Conway as co-offensive coordinator / running bakcs / tight ends coach. Conway was the assistant head coach / wide receivers coach the past two seasons at FCS Sam Houston State.

Colorado State: Salaries...Dave Baldwin (offensive coordinator - $225,000), Billy Napier (asst. head coach / quarterbacks - $210,000), Derek Frazier (offensive line - $145,000), Alvis Whitted (wide receivers - $135,000), Marty English (defensive line - $155,000), Tim Skipper (linebackers - $155,000), Tim Duffie ($160,000) and Jeff Hammerschmidt (special teams coordinator - $160,000). We expect the defensive coordinator position to be filled shortly. On average, these salaries are 36% higher than the staff at CSU received last season. 

Oakland Raiders: Jason La Canfora reports that Al Saunders will remain with Oakland as a "senior assistant". 

Syracuse: Donnie Henderson has been hired to coach the defensive backs. Henderson was coaching the secondary at Southern this past season. 

Yale: We hear that former UMass head coach Kevin Morris has accepted the offensive coordinator role at Yale. 

Indianapolis Colts: Sources telling us this morning that UAB offensive coordinator Joe Gilbert will join the Colts staff. 

Oakland Raiders: Adam Schefter tweeted at 4:28 AM that San Jose State offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach John DeFelippo will join the Raiders as quarterbacks coach. Two sources telling us very late last night that former Ole Miss defensive backs coach Keith Burns will join the Raiders staff as well. 

Toronto Argonauts: Clark Atlanta defensive line coach Cory Stone has accepted the defensive line job with the Argonauts.

Tampa Bay: We have confirmed that Rutgers defensive coordinator Bob Fraser, tight ends coach Brian Angelichio and secondary coach Jeff Hafley will all join Greg Schiano's staff in Tampa. 

Greenville College (D-III - IL): Greenville is seeking applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Football Coach. Compensation includes a $5k stipend, on campus housing, a meal plan, and a graduate tuition waiver. Arkansas State: Recapping the staff...On offense, Rhett Lashlee (offensive coordinator / quarterbacks), Eli Drinkwitz (running backs / special teams coordinator), J.B. Grimes (offensive line), Casey Woods (receivers) and Dean Jackson (tight ends). On defense, Keith Patterson (defensive coordinator), Kenny Ingram (defensive line), Brandon Hall (linebackers) and David Gunn (defensive backs). 

Savannah State (FCS - GA): Savannah State University, a member of the highly competitive Middle Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), is seeking a highly motivated individual on the offensive side of the football. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with successful college coaching experience, strong professional/interpersonal communication skills and organizational efficiency, outstanding character and leadership qualities a must. The successful applicant should also possess strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point, and Access software. Experience with LRS digital video editing system is a plus.
