Happy Independence Day everyone!

Central Arkansas: Head coach Clint Conque has announced the addition of Dave Wheeler to coach the safeties. Wheeler previously served as a defensive assistant at Ole Miss and has also served as the defensive coordinator at Arkansas Tech.

Mercer: Mercer University is seeking two Graduate Assistants to coach Quarterbacks, Running Backs, or Wide Receivers. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years of coaching experience and or playing experience. Tuition, housing, meals, and stipend included. Responsibilities include: Position coach, film breakdown (Hudl), assisting with recruiting and recruiting events, and camps. Graceland University (NAIA - IA): We hear McPherson College pass game coordinator running backs coach Cedric Shell has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Graceland. Correction< Shell accepted the receivers and special teams coordinator position, not the offensive coordinator position as we were originally informed. Clayton Braddock is entering his seventh season with Graceland and his second as the offensive coordinator.

Adrian College (D-III - MI): Adrian College is seeking two football interns, running backs / defensive line, for the upcoming season. Both intern positions will receive housing, $7,500 stipend, along with meals and health insurance. Albion College (D-III - MI): The Albion College Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of Football Intern. This is a 10 month part time administrative position with employment beginning August 1, 2012. The position will pay $10,000 with no benefits, no housing and no meals. This position will be responsible for supporting the Football Coaching Staff in all aspects of leading Albion College’s junior varsity and varsity football program.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to serve as a position coach (CB's or WR's) breakdown film and provide scouting reports, create recruiting plans and relationships that will lead to identifying and attracting outstanding student-athletes, provide guidance to student-athletes regarding their academic and overall success , participate in fundraising events for the program and athletic department, maintain working knowledge of NCAA, MIAA, and Albion College policies and procedures, other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s degree required, 1 year experience coaching at the varsity high school level or higher; or 3 to 4 years of combined experience as a NCAA football player or student manager and competitive coach. Must have a valid, or be eligible to obtain, a Michigan driver’s license.
