Washington State: Dartmouth recievers coach Jarrail Jackson will join Mike Leach's staff in a quality control role according to sources. 

Oklahoma State: Tiffin University (D-II - OH) offensive line coach Bryson Oliver has accepted a position on the staff at Oklahoma State. He will serve as an offensive grad assistant. 

Northwestern State University (FCS - LA): Northwestern State (Southland Conference) has openings for at least 3 Graduate Assistant Positions; 1 Special Teams, 1 Defense, and 1 Video Coordinator. Henderson State (D-II - AR): Henderson State currently has an opening for a full time assistant coach. Job description: Various duties as assigned by the head coach associated with operating a NCAA Division II football program at the highest possible level. As part of your job responsibilities you will be required to instruct academic courses as directed by the University. This is a full time, non classified staff position and is not a faculty appointment. Qualifications: Masters required. Successful coaching experience and at least two years as a full time offensive line coach, secondary, or linebackers at the collegiate level is preferred. Salary: Commensurate with experience. Southern Miss: Jeff Hammond has been named athletic director. 

Bryant (FCS): Former FAU offensive coordinator Darryl Jackson has joined the Bryant staff as defensive backs coach.

New York Giants: The Giants have extended Tom Coughlin's contract through the 2014 season. Financial terms weren't released; but we're pretty confident he's earned his money. Update> Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that Coughlin's new three year agreement is worth $20 million.

Earlham College (D-III - IN): Earlham is seeking applicants for an offensive assistant (working with quarterbacks or receivers). This opportunity is a 10-month contract that includes housing, some meals, and a $12,000 stipend. Experience playing or coaching quarterbacks or receivers is REQUIRED for the position. The opportunity also includes coaching your own position group, recruiting responsibilities, and video work with HUDL. Southwest Baptist: Chowan University associate head coach Ricky Coon has accepted the defensive line job.

Alcorn State: We hear Jay Hopson has hired Cincinnati offensive staff assistant Doc Gamble to coaching the running backs & tight ends at Alcorn. 

Case Western (D-III - OH): We hear offensive line coach Mick Illiano has retired and the program has hired Kenston HS offensive coordinator Mike Murphey to coach the offensive line. 

Tiffin (D-II - OH): We have learned that Gary Goff has hired Scott Preston (2009 D-II FootballScoop Coordinator of the Year while at Arkansas Tech). Preston will coach the offensive line. 

Tuskegee (D-II - AL): We hear former Langston athletic director Patric Simon, who had accepted the same position at Alcorn State, had moved on and accepted the same position at Tuskegee.

Miami: Randy Shannon and the U have settled the lawsuit Shannon had filed against Miami. Terms were not disclosed; but the University described the settlement as "fully, fairly and amicably resolved".
