Montana: Associate athletic director Kent Haslam was promoted to athletic director today. 

Portland State (FCS): Defensive coordinator Eric Jackson has been released. Jackson was the defensive backs / special teams coordinator at Princeton for ten seasons prior to joining the Portland State staff in early 2010. Head coach Nigel Burton announced that he would immediately begin looking for a replacement. 

Troy: The Dothan Eagle reported this afternoon that Ole Miss senior executive associate athletic director John Hartwell has agreed to become athletic director at Troy.

Notre Dame: Multiple reports are that Notre Dame will join the ACC in all sports except for football and hockey. Also, initial reports state that Notre Dame will play 5 ACC teams annually. An ACC press conference is scheduled for later today.
