SEC recruiting expenses: Expenditure totals from 2005-08 found that the Vols spent an average of $1.15 million annually on football recruiting. Auburn football ranked second with a three-year average of $705,125, fol lowed by LSU ($662,773), current national champion Florida ($599,818) and Georgia ($521,174).
