A couple quick updates for the uni-philes among our audience.
Utah will wear throwbacks for its Oct. 10 date against California.
I've never been a huge fan of the Utes' mountainous current look so, in my opinion, slap the new logo on those throwback kits and you've got a great uniform.
Next up, new helmet designs at Vanderbilt:

The chain and anchor don't quite play as well as Purdue's train tracks as far as creative stripes go, but it's an interesting concept nonetheless. I like the black helmet best, but not as much as the clean black lids the 'Dores already have in their arsenal.
Finally, Tulsa displayed a slightly-new helmet at American media days this week.

No school wears red, white and gold better (or at all) quite like the Golden Hurricane, so it would have been nice to see Tulsa work some gold accent in, but it's hard to hate that classic script on a clean, white canvas. The addition of the boat spackle means those lids will be bright under the right light.
What do you think?
