"Hey Dabo, do you think football will still exist in 25 years?" (Featured)

The question was simple and brief.

The answer was anything but.

An off-camera reporter asked Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney if he thought football would still be around in 25 years.

"I think football is the greatest sport in the planet," he immediately responded. No one could have expected a different answer, not from a man that has deposited his entire life into the game and is now paid more than $3 million a year to coach the game.

Dabo's answer rambles for nearly five minutes, jumping from the dangers of riding bicycles, to sucking water from a PVC pipe as a high school football player, to why God made people like ships, but every syllable is a worthwhile and passionate defense of the game of football - as if it needed one in the first place.

"The game of football, nothing teaches life better in my opinion. I've got three boys. They need a little failure. They need to get knocked down. They need to show up on time, discipline, and how to be a great teammate, how to win, how to lose, how to handle criticism, how to be coachable. I've got all kinds of education. I've got a bachelor's degree, I've got an MBA, and I'm thankful for that. I learned so many things, and my education made me qualified. But the greatest education that I've received has been in between them lines."
