If the average football play lasts 4-6 seconds like coaches preach all the time, then this may be the longest play ever.
At a high school football game in Hawaii between Kahuku HS and Kaiser HS, a standard punt return turned into a minute of craziness, thanks to a fumble, some big blocks, and lots of luck.
Take a look at Kahuku HS (HI) punt returner Stokes Botelho (#20) as he cuts across the field to return the punt. Once he gets near the other sideline, he has it knocked out of his arms and a mad scramble for the ball ensues...but then the ball squirts out of the pile right at him, and he picks it up and runs it back down his team's sideline for a touchdown, with the help from a critical blindside block.
The clip is titled "The never-ending punt return" for good reason.
