Over the last several years, Syracuse has embarked on a multi-phase process to revamp their athletic facilities, initially setting out to raise $150 million for upgrades across the board.
Just less than a year ago they shared a drone-inspired fly through of what the new football performance center for football would look like, but over the weekend they revealed a fly through of the real thing.
Coming off an impressive 10-win debut season under the first-time head coach, the new facility allows Fran and the Syracuse staff to sell a state of the art facility with an expanded team cafeteria and nutrition space, new locker rooms and position meeting rooms, coaches offices, and plenty of extra square footage dedicated to the student-athlete experience.
The facility opened a few months after they were hoping for, but it looks like it was every bit worth the wait.
Take a look for yourself.
