Last night, the two remaining teams left from the disintegration of the Pac-12 faced off when Washington State welcomed Oregon State to Pullman.
Both teams currently ranked, they battled to a 38-35 decision to push Wazzu to 4-0 on the year, while the Beavers dropped their first game of the season to go to 3-1.
After the game, Jake Dickert took the opportunity at the podium to point the finger of blame at ESPN for the demise of the Pac-12, and then things got interesting.
"It's well documented what ESPN has done to try to get our league to where it's at, and I would love to have a conversation with coach Corso about the value that he sees in breaking up the premier west coast conference."
"I would also like to have a conversation with coach Corso about how he thinks student athletes, and mental health, and flying them all over the country is a positive thing. I'm open to those conversations. I am fact based on everything that we do."
Not only that, Dickert had some choice words directed at Lee Corso, who - according to him - called their tilt with Oregon State the "No One Watches Bowl," which he took personally.
"I don't really understand that. What's the merit, once again? Because the facts say, people watch the Cougs...and the people watch the Cougs more than any team that's left over in the Big 12."
Then Dickert took his own type of shot at iconic 88-year old GameDay host.
"Coach Corso is kind of at the point now where they just give him a sheet, and he reads off of it, and they try to make a joke, but it didn't even make sense."
"I just know this. We belong. We belong," Dickert ends the clip sharing.

That sparked comments from former standout Washington State quarterback Ryan Leaf, who backed Dickert before GameDay's own Kirk Herbstreit stepped in with some comments of his own.
And @CollegeGameDay is supposed to be a celebration of #CFB. Instead, they choose to make it a big joke, and everyone on the panel enables it. Just a bunch of wind socks. #CougsvsEverybody https://t.co/pp8XtZCUoy

Is this a real tweet???
You must have been hacked Ryan.
Lee’s point OBVIOUSLY was-it is 2 teams that have been left out-that haven’t found a home yet-NOT the “no one watches Bowl”. Know you’re excited your boys won but DAMN! https://t.co/hfMIBt9YX8
