The Broyles Award announced its list of 15 semifinalists on Tuesday, one of whom will be selected as the nation's top assistant coach. The 15 semifinalists will be whittled down to five finalists, to be announced next Sunday.
Those five finalists will make the trek to Little Rock for the award ceremony on Dec. 4.
The semifinalists are:

Mike Locksley, Alabama offensive coordinator
Jay Bateman, Army defensive coordinator
Tim DeRuyter, Cal defensive coordinator
Glen Elarbee, UCF offensive line coach
Jeff Scott, Clemson co-offensive coordinator
Sam Pittman, Georgia offensive line coach
Dave Aranda, LSU defensive coordinator
Don Brown, Michigan defensive coordinator
Bob Shoop, Mississippi State defensive coordinator
Chip Long, Notre Dame offensive coordinator
Bill Bedenbaugh, Oklahoma offensive line coach
David Yost, Utah State offensive coordinator
Tracy Claeys, Washington State defensive coordinator
Jake Spavital, West Virginia offensive coordinator
Clemson's Tony Elliott won the Broyles Award in 2017.
