"Reach for your phones," the man at the microphone says. "I'm serious. Reach for your phones... If you need my words, then you keep these words, and you use them and you remember them and you share them and you talk about them: If you can't treat someone with dignity and respect, then get out."
The man at the microphone is Lieutenant General Jay Silveria, the superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He's brought the entire academy together because five black students at the Air Force's Prep School discovered a message that read "Go home" followed by a racial epithet, and Silveria wanted to drive home a message that applies equally to every school, every team, every group in the country.
