Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze is away from his team right now as the coach undergoes medical treatment for ongoing back spasms, the program announced Tuesday night.

Due to severe back spasms, Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze has been unable to participate in Flames Training Camp practices since Sunday. Freeze is currently undergoing medical treatment to relieve the spasms and will return to practice when they subside.
Freeze is heading into his first season as the Flames head coach. The Liberty job represents a personal and professional reclamation project following his resignation from Ole Miss just weeks before the 2017 season.
Back spasms are no joke, and we wish Freeze all the best as he recovers.
