Steve Spurrier is hosting his own cruise this summer (Steve Spurrier)

Steve Spurrier left college football coaching in 2015, but Head Ball Coach, Inc., is still very much in business. He returned to Florida in 2016 as an ambassador for the school, he's in Dos Equis commercials and this spring he's coaching the AAF's Orlando Apollos.

But that's not all.

This summer, the inaugural Steve Spurrier Cruise will embark across the high seas. Over four days and three nights in July, Spurrier and his Apollos coaching staff are inviting you -- yes, YOU! -- to sail with them on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas, where you can play laser tag, hop on the sky pad, crack your way out of the escape room and listen to Spurrier and his staff talk ball.

The HSS Spurrier leaves July 12 out of Cape Canaveral, Fla., sails to the Bahamas and returns early on July 15.

If you're like me, you've got plenty of questions by this point.

-- How much face time are guests getting with Spurrier and the rest of the speakers?
-- Is this vacation-in-a-clinic for young coaches and their families, or a clinic-in-a-vacation for Gators and Apollos diehards? Are there any Apollos diehards?
-- How much does this cost? And how much is Spurrier making for all this?

All great questions, only one of which has an answer at this point.

A 172-square foot interior room with two double beds convertible into one queen-sized bed costs $926 for a double occupancy, while an ocean view stateroom with two queen beds and a 78-square foot balcony runs $1,541 for a double occupancy.

If all of this sounds reasonable to you, the Steve Spurrier Cruise would be happy to take your credit card information right now.
