There are three FBS schools in the state of Kentucky, and one of them is stating its case as the program of the Bluegrass State ahead of the other two. With spring recruiting in full swing, new Western Kentucky head coach Mike Sanford is making his pitch to Kentucky high school coaches by sending its staff to visit every last one of them.
The 'Toppers have released itineraries for their coaches and for each day's visits.
Add in that Western in 22-5 with back-to-back bowl wins and back-to-back Conference USA championships and Sanford and company have a strong argument to Kentucky high school coaches and players.
