For some of you, this won't mean a thing - and to you I say, why are you here? Well, perhaps you aren't from around Texas; but to others, the a benchmark of summer is the annual Dave Campbell's Texas Football cover reveal.
And this year, they hit it out of the park.
One Texas institution lobbying for the reinstatement of another is a powerful statement. Will it change anything? Most likely not. Not even the expressed support of both head coaches has been enough to bring back the UT vs. A&M rivalry. Short of a complete change in leadership at both universities and/or an act of state legislature, I'm not sure what will.
But it's still a nice - and artistically gorgeous - statement from one of the most hallowed guardians of football in the state of Texas.
