Indiana's basketball program wears the most famous warm-ups in sports. That may sound like a silly designation but, seriously, name a more iconic set of warm-ups than these. (Trick question: you can't.)
Now, Kevin Wilson's 3-1, first-place-in-the-Big-Ten-East football squad, a program that's already not afraid to get funky with its visual presentation, will pay homage to the basketball Hooisers with their own set of candy stripe uniforms.
We would've liked to see actual candy stripe pants but, hey, we're not the ones wearing them.
Overall, it's a nice look that IU should wear more than just once. The candy stripe kits will see the field Oct. 15 vs. Nebraska.
