Dating back to the late 2000s, Ohio State has rolled out a new alternate jersey seemingly every season, and while the alternates in Columbus don't get too crazy, they still manage to stir up a heavy dose of excitement among the Buckeye faithful.
Over the weekend, this updated look based on the Buckeyes uniforms from the 1916-17 season surfaced thanks to an Ohio State recruit's father, who posted the picture to Facebook during a trip to Columbus, according to 247 - who were the first with the news.
The uniform features some vertical gray stripes, and definitely has a classic throwback look to it without being completely out of touch with current tradition. Overall, I think these look pretty sharp for uniforms from the early 1900s making a comeback.
No word yet on what game the Buckeye's will rock these in.
