After strangely wearing white helmets throughout the Todd Dodge era, the North Texas Mean Green smartly reverted back to green helmets upon Dan McCarney's arrival in 2011.
North Texas dabbled in flying eagle helmets last year, with a black-on-green look in the Halloween win over Rice, and then a green-on-black lid for the Heart of Dallas defeat of UNLV.
But I believe North Texas hit the mark with this helmet that hit the Internet on Thursday. Gentlemen, this is your new helmet. Use it and never look back.
