The St. Louis Rams may not be the St. Louis Rams very much longer.
In January, Rams owner Stan Kroenke purchased 60 acres of Inglewood, Calif., land with the prospect of teaming with the local business establishment to bring the team back to an area it called home from 1946 through its departure for St. Louis after the 1994 season.
The NFL hosted officials Wednesday representing stadium projects in Carson, Calif., where the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers are working to share a stadium, Inglewood and St. Louis in hopes of swaying the league's six-member Committee on Los Angeles Opportunities and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

So tell me, Mr. NFL Owner, would you rather play in the riverfront stadium you see above - as an aside, a riverfront football stadium seems about 0.008 percent as cool as a riverfront baseball park - and have the St. Louis market all to yourself, or move to the Inglewood project pictured below at the risk of sharing a tepid Los Angeles pro football market with two other teams? Remember, the Rams and Raiders have both left L.A. once before.
