The Eagles went on a tear drafting Philadelphia Eagles players over the last several drafts, loading up on Kirby Smart's players in their pursuit of building the best roster in the league.
By the time their season came to an end with a dominate victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, a total of six former Bulldogs earned Super Bowl rings including Nolan Smith, Jalen Carter, Kelee Ringo and Lewis Cine.
Now the Eagles reach is extending into Kirby's staff as well.
CBS Sports shares that the Nick Sirianni and the Eagles are expected to add Georgia assistant quarterbacks coach Montgomery VanGorder to the staff in Philly.
His role will be an offensive assistant, the report adds.
VanGorder, who has been a part of the UGA staff since 2019, is a former quarterback who had stops at Notre Dame and Youngstown State (FCS - OH).
His father, Brian, is a well-traveled defensive coordinator with stops calling defenses in the ACC, SEC, MAC, and at Notre Dame as well as in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons.
