Florida A&M head coach James Colzie III goes viral for second job (Florida A&M)

If it were up to Florida A&M head coach James Colzie, his second job would remain low key.

However, thanks in large part to a screenshot from the SEC Network broadcast during the top 25 softball match up between Auburn and Mississippi State a few weeks back, Colzie's second job went viral.

The second-year Rattlers head coach moonlights in the spring as a college softball official.

Sources share that it's actually something he's been doing for quite some time, getting the call to officiate Big Ten and SEC contests way back to 2009, we're told.

For some context - the Auburn and Mississippi State game took place back on March 9th, a few days after their first spring practice and just before the Florida A&M campus broke for spring break for a few days. The Rattlers returned to the field for spring practices on the 18th, after a few snow days in Tallahassee impacted the off season schedule.

Heading into year two with the program, Colzie and his staff have added significant numbers to the roster. They hit the field last spring with just under 60 players, and this spring they have 93 on their roster for the first spring practices.

The program will hold their Orange and Green Spring game on Saturday April 12th, with two practices set to take place after that.

Below is the screenshot of Colzie from the softball game that went viral.
