Sources: Grambling finds new offensive line coach with FCS Playoff, FBS experience (Erik Losey)

With a crucial spring camp at hand, Mickey Joseph is making a significant addition to his second Grambling coaching staff.

Sources tell FootballScoop that Joseph is hiring Erik Losey, most recently at Eastern Kentucky, to be Grambling’s new offensive line coach.

Losey helped the Colonels advance to the FCS Playoffs since he was hired by Walt Wells in 2019 and was part of the staff that engineered the historic, seven-overtime upset of FBS Bowling Green. Additionally Losey has FBS experience from time at Southern Miss and also at Alcorn State, a SWAC rival of Grambling.

Joseph enters Year 2 atop Grambling after an 5-7 debut campaign.

It’s hard to imagine a much tougher opening for the 2025 season: Grambling plays at defending College Football Playoff champion Ohio State Sept. 6.
