Brent Key has again bolstered his Georgia Tech coaching staff.
Brendan Farrell is joining the Yellow Jackets staff to work with the program's special teams units.
It's a strong move for Key, who adds in Farrell a veteran coach who spent five years with the Miami Dolphins as a special teams assistant.
Additionally, he also has almost a decade of experience coaching in the SEC.
It was there, at Alabama, when Farrell worked alongside Key under the legendary Nick Saban. Farrell has been a part of three national championship teams in his collegiate coaching career.
Farrell also has coached at Northwestern State. During his career, he has helped specialists to earn both Ray Guy Award finalist honors and multiple all-conference selections.
Georgia Tech, after a 7-6 2024 season, opens its 2025 campaign Aug. 30 on the road against Deion Sanders's Colorado Buffaloes.
