That didn’t take long.
Cornell Brown, who had been a key figure on Scot Loeffler’s Bowling Green defensive staff but who was not retained by new coach Eddie George, has quickly landed with another program.
And it’s a Bowling Green rival, too.
Sources tell FootballScoop that Brown is being hired as the new defensive tackles coach at Eastern Michigan.
It’s a strong addition for EMU, which with Brown adds a veteran coach who was an All-American at Virginia Tech and spent seven seasons in the NFL.
Brown also has coached at his alma mater as well as Marshall and multiple NFL Europe franchises.
