Cincinnati reportedly "zeroing in" on ACC coordinator for offensive coordinator vacancy

Yesterday, word broke that Cincinnati offensive coordinator Tom Manning would be heading back to the NFL.

Today, a report from Chad Brendel shares that Scott Satterfield is moving quickly to fill the key vacancy on his staff.

Brendel, who covers Cincinnati news for Bearcat Journal, reports that Satterfield is "zeroing in" on Virginia Tech quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator Brad Glenn for the offensive coordinator job.

Glenn is a college coaching veteran who, prior to joining Brent Pry's Hokies staff, served as Georgia State's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2019-21.

Before that, Glenn was an offensive coordinator at the FCS level at Western Carolina, where he also held the title of associate head coach.

Glenn and Satterfield have a familiarity with each other from their time on staff at Appalachian State, where they overlapped for a few seasons. Glenn was there from 2006-11, while Satterfield had two stints with the Mountaineers from 1998-2008 and again from 2012-18, serving as head coach for the final six seasons there.
