Oliver Luck is suing Vince McMahon for wrongful termination, as first reported by the Action Network.
Luck, along with other XFL executives, was not included in the list of creditors when the league filed for bankruptcy last week. The Action Network reported Luck's contract as commissioner of the startup league was set to pay him between $20 and $25 million for five years.
McMahon said he had upwards of half a billion dollars set aside to fund the revamped XFL for three years, before closing the league just five weeks in. The XFL dismissed all of its employees on April 10.
McMahon's WWE has also laid off wrestlers and behind the scenes employees despite petitioning for "essential business" designation to continue shooting in the state of Florida.
