Put your children to sleep with this bedtime story

These are trying times for all of us, especially if you're a parent of young children. Rather than school, daycare, after school activities and/or some combination of the above occupying your child's time and energy, that job now falls to you. All day, every day, until further notice.

Getting your child down at a reasonable hour has proven to be a challenge -- or at least it has in my household of an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old. It's enough to get you to reach for something strong to do the job -- like, perhaps, the 2016 classic of Samuel L. Jackson reading the bedtime story "Go the F*ck to Sleep."

This is a family website and a football website, so we're not going to prescribe that here.

Instead, we're going to recommend something even better: the great Bob Green reading "Goodnight Moon," in the way only Bob Green can.

We've already established that Green is the greatest interview in college football history, so it stands to reason he's a natural choice to ease your children into a hard-won slumber.

And while we're here, let's take a stroll down memory lane to review some of Coach Green's greatest hits.

"It's kind of like watching your mother-in-law going over a cliff in a Cadillac: you've got mixed feelings" -- I don't care who you are, that's funny right there. Although you might not want to mix that into the bedtime routine.
