Ravens reportedly adding ACC defensive coordinator to staff (Baltimore Ravens)

The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly dipping into the college ranks to fill their a spot on their defensive staff.

NFL Network shares that Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci is heading to the Ravens to coach the linebackers.

Santucci spent the past two seasons as a defensive coordinator in the ACC, first at Duke under Mike Elko in 2023 and this past season with Brent Key at Georgia Tech.

His Duke defense in 2023 led the ACC in scoring defense (19 ppg).

A Mike Elko disciple, Santucci has worked with the renowned defensive mind at a number of stops dating back to 2014, including Wake Forest, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M.

Prior to taking over the defenses at Duke and Georgia Tech, Santucci held the co-defensive coordinator role for the Aggies at Texas A&M in 2022 after two seasons as the linebackers coach.

The coordinator change marks the 50th FBS defensive coordinator change this cycle.
