The highest paid quarterbacks coaches in college football: 2023 edition (College Football Coaches Salaries)

The goal of this project has always been to isolate the specific value of position coaching within big-time college football, and studying the salaries of quarterbacks coaches allows us to to evaluate two positions at once.

Most, but not all, coordinators are also quarterbacks coaches, and a survey of Power 5 public schools tells us that the median offensive coordinator earns around $1 million, and the median quarterbacks coach with no coordinator title earns around $400,000.

This means that the typical Power 5 school pays roughly $600,000 for coordinator duties. Whether they think of it in this terms or not is another story.
