Wake Forest, Jake Dickert moving quickly to fill out offensive coaching staff (Wake Forest)

With Jake Dickert moving quickly to fill out his inaugural Wake Forest coaching staff, one of the most significant moves is the hiring of Rob Ezell as the program's offensive coordinator, as first reported by FootballScoop.

With Ezell in the fold, Dickert & Co. now are filling out their offensive coaching tree, sources tell FootballScoop.

Sources tell FootballScoop that two more Washington State offensive assistant coaches are expected to reunite with Dickert at Wake Forest.

Those coaches are offensive line coach Jared Kaster and wide receivers coach Nick Edwards.

Additionally, FootballScoop has learned that Effrem Reed is expected to follow Ezell from South Alabama to Wake Forest as the running backs coach.

A Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native who played running back for the Louisiana Cajuns, Reed has experience coaching on both sides of the ball.

He was a defensive graduate assistant at his alma mater before he landed on the staff at Michigan State, where first he served as an offensive analyst before he eventually was promoted to the role of running backs coach under former Spartans head coach Mel Tucker.

He had been on staff at South Alabama, where Major Applewhite had hired Reed a year ago.

Edwards had spent the past two seasons as Dickert's wide receivers coach at Washington State; the Tacoma, Washington, native also has been on the staff of the Cal Bears and at Cal-Poly, among other stops.

Kaster, a former star center at Texas Tech, had been on the Wazzu staff for the past two seasons after he previously had been on staff at Austin Peay.

He also coached at Houston Christian.
