Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings have hired former NFL quarterback Charlie Frye as a defensive assistant and Jordan Traylor, son of UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor, as assistant offensive coordinator/assistant quarterbacks coach. Traylor comes from the Saints, where he was a scouting assistant, defensive assistant, and offensive assistant.

Charlotte: Following the departure of defensive tackles coach David Denham to join the Michigan staff this past weekend, Tim Albin notes that they've hired Vince Reynolds as the new defensive tackles coach. Reynolds is the former defensive line coach / run game coordinator at Arkansas State and also coached the defensive line at Syracuse.
Bowling Green: Tennessee State (FCS) defensive coordinator Brandon Fisher is set to join Eddie George at BG in the same capacity, per multiple reports.
Last Chance U: Former Independence Community College head coach and Last Chance U star Jason Brown has filed a $30 million lawsuit against Netflix, claiming his portrayal in the show cost him coaching jobs.
Baylor: Baylor has announced Waco (TX) University head coach Kaeron Johnson as assistant AD for football relations, North Texas assistant O-line coach Connor Killian as director of football strategy, and Jadyn Wells as director of on-campus recruiting. Wells, the daughter of former Texas Tech head coach Matt Wells, spent the past six years working for the Red Raiders.
Minot State (D-II - MN): Per source, former Charlotte nickels coach and IMG (FL) defensive coordinator Tommy Langford has accepted the linebackers job.
Monmouth (D-III - IL): Will Hampton, an assistant at Second Baptist HS (TX), has been announced as the new linebackers coach.
Monroe (JC - NY): Monroe University is looking to hire an Assistant Defensive Coach (LBs / DBs). This is an 8-month position with a competitive salary. Preference will be given to those with Special Teams experience. Responsibilities include coaching your own position group as well as additional responsibilities assigned by the head coach. Penn (FCS - PA): The University of Pennsylvania, located in Philadelphia, is seeking applicants for an Offensive Quality Control Position. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of being a Division 1 Coach. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to film breakdown, scouting reports, running a scout team, assisting in recruiting, and playbook formulation. Previous Experience using JustPlay, XOs/Catapult, and PFF would be a bonus! A bachelor's degree is required. Compensation stipend of 15-20k. UCLA: Per source, Rudy Caamano has joined the Bruins front office after 1 season as an intern with the Raiders. His role with UCLA will be as director of football research and business operations.
Baylor: Waco University HS (TX) head coach Kaeron Johnson has resigned from his post to accept a position on the staff at Baylor where he will work in high school relations and assist with the defensive line.
Lindenwood (FCS - MO): Per source, Texas Permian-Basin (D-II) assistant head coach / tackles and tight ends coach Tommy Crayton has left the Falcons staff to join the staff at Lindenwood.
Western Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop Lance Taylor is bringing in some impressive MAC, Big Ten and FCS experience to fill his offensive line job.
Kansas: Sources tell FootballScoop Lance Leipold is continuing his rebuild at Kansas by adding one of the top Junior College head coaches in college football.
Slippery Rock (D-II - PA): Slippery Rock is looking for games in 2026 and 2027. 2026 availability is week 0 (home), week 1 (home) and week 8 (home), with the same weeks in 2027, weeks 0 and 1 away games and week 8 open to home or away contests. Morehead State (FCS - KY): After serving as the defensive ends coach at Alabama A&M (FCS) last season, Jeremy Austin has accepted the defensive line job.
Southeast Missouri (FCS): Lakewood HS (MO) head coach John Holt, who worked as the offensive line coach at Georgia State for two seasons in 2022 and 2023, has been announced as the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Lamar (FCS - TX): On the eve on the start of spring practices, the program has announced Ryan McCarthy as the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. McCarthy is the former head coach at Central Connecticut State (FCS) and also previously spent ten seasons at Albany (FCS - NY, where he rose from assistant to offensive coordinator.
Allen (D-II - SC): Jerrell Allen, a former assistant at Christian Community College (JC - Detroit, MI), has accepted the defensive backs job. At Allen University, Jerrell joins the staff of Cedric Pearl, who he played under at Central State (D-II - OH).
Notre Dame: Sources confirm to FootballScoop Jourdan Blake is joining Notre Dame's staff as director of player personnel. Blake is currently Colorado's assistant director of player personnel. He previously worked at both SMU and TCU in recruiting.
Miami: Assistant director of player personnel Devontay Love-Taylor is being promoted to director of player personnel after one year with the program, CBS Sports shares.

Ohio Dominican (D-II): Ohio Dominican University has an immediate opening for a Special Teams Coordinator / Defensive position coach. Rocky Mountain (NAIA - MT): - Rocky Mountain College invites applicants for a corners coach (Experience with CB coaching or playing is a plus) & Assistant Strength coach for Football (need to have weight room experience). Pay for the position is $24,000 over 12 months + Camp Money, with free housing in an on campus 4 bedroom / 2 bath apartment with 3 other coaches. (No Families / Partners in housing) and a full meal plan during the school year. No Benefits. Interviews conducted ASAP. Start date Responsibilities include but are not limited to duties assigned by the Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, DB Coach & Strength Coach. Will help / coach in the weight room some as well. Also included in day-to-day duties will be but not limited to are defensive game planning, recruiting your own area, promoting the RMC Culture & mission statement, coaching a position group and all aspects of academics assigned by the Head Coach.
