Temple: Sources tell FootballScoop Everett Withers is headed back to Temple where he will become defensive coordinator. Withers had joined Tom Herman's staff at FAU as assistant head coach / defensive pass game coordinator in late December after serving in a chief of staff type role for the 2022 season with Stan Drayton at Temple.
Florida: The Gators are reportedly set to bring back a former assistant under Urban Meyer.
Weber State (FCS - UT): Jaylen Johnson has joined the staff as defensive tackles coach after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Washington.
St. Scholastica (D-III - MN): The College of St. Scholastica is looking to hire an assistant coach. Interested candidates can apply via this link.
Minnesota Morris (D-III): Minnesota Morris is seeking a seasonal defensive position coach (defensive backs or linebackers). This is a 4 month position starting July 31st. $4,000 salary for the season with possible supplemental off-season employment on campus. Housing with some meals included. No other benefits. The position responsibilities include, coaching a position, practice preparation, recruiting, assisting with equipment, and duties as assigned. Review of applicants will begin immediately. Colorado: Sources tell FootballScoop Gabe Lynn has joined coach Prime's staff as assistant director of payer personnel. He was previously the defensive backs coach at Houston Christian (FCS).
Washington Commanders: Per multiple reports, offensive line coach John Matsko has been let go. Matsko has been Ron Rivera's offensive line coach his entire head coaching career in Carolina, and in Washington, DC.
Allegheny (D-III - PA): Allegheny College invites applications for the position of assistant football coach. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the head football coach. The ideal candidate is seeking advanced experience in the college coaching profession and we are looking for the best position fit. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a master’s degree is preferred. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive football program. Cumberland (NAIA - TN): Cumberland University is looking for an offensive and defensive GA to start in May. Cumberland University provides tuition and room and board to our GA's. No stipend. You will help as assigned by the Coordinator on your side of the ball. You will be able to have on field coaching responsibilities and possibly have your own position room for the right candidate. Arkansas Monticello (D-II): University of Arkansas at Monticello would like to invite applicants for our open Linebacker, full time- benefited, assistant football coaching position. We are looking to hire someone with college coaching, recruiting, and special team’s experience. Duties will include running your own position group, off campus recruiting, film breakdown (Hudl), practice organization as well as any additional duties assigned by the head coach or defense coordinator. The ideal candidate will have pervious playing or coaching experience at the linebacker position, prior special team experience, and be a detailed oriented coach. North Carolina: UNC has now formally announced the additions of Clyde Christensen (volunteer offensive analyst), Ted Monachino (senior defensive analyst), Ty Greenwood (defensive analyst), Jamael Lett (special teams analyst), Jay Clements (offensive GA), and Cam Spence (defensive GA).
Georgia Southern: After losing their defensive coordinator to the NFL, Clay Helton is reportedly turning to a young up-and-coming MAC coordinator to fill his open defensive play caller vacancy.
Adrian (D-III - MI): Adrian College has a part-time position opening for an offensive skill position in the Fall. The position would work with either receivers, tight ends, or running backs based on the best candidate. This is a 4 month position that will report to the head coach and includes a $5k stipend. Gannon (D-II - PA): Gannon University is looking to hire a Defensive Line or Linebacker Coach. This is a full time position with benefits. Saint Anselm (D-II - NH): Saint Anselm is looking for a Blue-Collar Offensive QC for the running back position. The responsibilities for the PART TIME position include coaching a position, recruiting , film breakdown and any other responsibilities designated by the head coach. This is an entry level position that carries a 12 month contract. This position does not carry any benefits. LA Chargers: Hutchinson CC (JC - KS) offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Phil Serchia has accepted a position on the staff.
FIU: Anthony Gaitor, who previously served as an analyst for the program, has been elevated to nickels coach, sources tell FootballScoop.
Penn State: Graduate assistant Dion Barnes has been elevated to defensive line coach. Barnes is a former Penn State defensive end who went on to spend two seasons in the NFL before serving the past three seasons as a graduate assistant on staff.
Eastern Illinois (FCS): EIU head coach Chris Wilkerson has announced the promotions and new titles for Clay Bignell (defensive coordinator), DJ Bland (defensive pass game coordinator), Collin Geier (inside linebackers) and Andrew Brady (outside linebackers).
Alabama: Salary details for Nick Saban's two new coordinators, and some raises for his current staff.
Central Michigan: Michael McGee, a teacher and coach at Washington Local (OH), has accepted the director of recruiting job.
Texas State: Sources share with FootballScoop that Stephen F. Austin running backs coach Eric Stephens is headed to Texas State in the same capacity.
