Louisiana Tech: The program has formally announced the additions of Cortez Carter (LBs), and Jacori Greer (DL). Carter spent last season as a senior analyst on the Florida State staff, while Greer spent the last three seasons as the defensive line coach at Texas State.

Roger Goodell: The NFL commissioner is set to sign a multiyear extension next week, Adam Schefter shares. Two years ago, in 2020, the New York Times shared that Goodell was making $63.9 million annually, and has collected over $500 million since becoming commissioner in 2006.

Texas State: Former Bobcat head coach and Hall of Fame offensive lineman David Bailiff is back at his alma mater in an important off-field role.

Bowling Green: Bowling Green State University Football is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Player Personnel position. This position will be a dual graphic-design and recruiting position. Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Suite. Applications must include a resume with references, and at least 2 examples of football graphics created by applicant. Georgia: Kirby Smart has replenished his off-field roster by hiring two recent Power 5 coordinators.

Oklahoma: Former Sooner Seth Littrell has joined the program.

Oregon: The state of Oregon is proposing an unprecedented bill that would suspend coaches for fan behavior.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Denzel Martin, who has been with the team the past eight season and most recently served as assistant linebackers coach, has been elevated to outside linebackers coach and Ravens analyst Jason Brooks has joined the team as a defensive quality control coach.

Guardian Caps: Guardian Caps “Exceeded Expectations” of the NFL after the 2022 mandate. After mandating Caps through the 2nd preseason game for all OL/DL/LB/TE, the NFL brought practice concussions to an eight-year low of 25. Concussions among the players who wore Guardian Caps dropped more than 50%. It has also been reported that the NFL Health & Safety officials met in February and recommended expanded use of Guardian Caps by players during the 2023 season. Click here for a quote or more info.

Alma (D-III - MI): Alma College is seeking a restricted earnings / entry-level assistant football coach, working with the offense. Preference will be given to candidates with experience who have played or coached Wide Receivers. The position duties include on-field coaching, film breakdowns, practice planning, position meetings, game planning, academic monitoring, game day responsibilities, your own recruiting territory, on-campus recruiting and other duties as assigned by the coordinator and the Head Coach. Colorado School of Mines (D-II): Per source, Brevard (D-III - NC) defensive coordinator has Shane Nelson has resigned for an opportunity to work with the linebackers at Colorado School of Mines.

Army: Justin "Juice" Weaver, who spent last season at Wisconsin as the "Beyond the Game" coordinator, has joined the staff as inside linebackers coach and defensive graduate assistant Collin Shank has been elevated to a quality control role.

Long Island (FCS - RI): Sources tell FootballScoop Kenny Lucky has joined the staff as defensive backs coach. Lucky recently served as the assistant defensive back coach at Georgia Tech and was an analyst at UMass prior to that.

Orlando Guardians (XFL): Per source, defensive line coach Ty Warren is no longer with the team and linebackers coach Mark Snyder is now coaching both the linebackers and defensive line.

Victor Valley College (JC - CA): VVC is looking to fill (2) Offensive Skill Positions (WR or RB) and (1) Defensive Assistant Position (Best Fit) with the possibility of ST-Coordinator for the right applicant. Each position is associated with a stipend and has the possibility for additional income based on qualifications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting the head coach in all facets of the football program, Recruiting prospective student-athletes, Organizing & conducting on-field coaching during practices and games, Helping student athletes with matriculation, and academic monitoring. If you have a MA in Physical Education/Kinesiology, there is a possibility of additional income. Prior collegiate coaching experience preferred (not required) or collegiate playing experience required. There is no housing or meals provided. Fordham (FCS - NY): The program has announced the promotions of wide receivers coach Art Asselta to offensive coordinator and linebackers coach Allen Gant to defensive coordinator.
