Miami Dolphins: San Francisco 49ers tight ends coach / assistant head coach Jon Embree, the former Colorado head coach, is following Mike McDaniel to Miami, the Miami Herald shares.

Joe Osovet: Former Tennessee Vols assistant Joe Osovet has been named the new head coach at Heritage HS (Maryville, TN). Osovet began as director of player development in 2018 before moving to director of football programming in 2019 and then tight ends coach in 2020.  

UMass: The program has announced the additions of Randall Jette, Matt Layman, Mike Livingston, Kenny Lucky and Matt Zanellato as analysts.

Pittsburgh Steelers: As has been expected, Teryl Austin has been named the team's new defensive coordinator.

Michigan State: As we originally shared back on January 30th, Marco Coleman has now been formally announced as the newest member of Mel Tucker's staff. Coleman's title is defensive line coach / run game coordinator.

NFL: The league takes its next step toward world domination later this year.

North Carolina: Former Colorado defensive graduate assistant Kyre Hawkins has accepted the same role with UNC, sources tell FootballScoop.

Buffalo Bills: Matthew Smiley, who spent the last five seasons as the assistant special teams coordinator, has been elevated to special teams coordinator.

Texas State: Chris Buckner has been hired as receivers coach. Buckner joins the staff after serving as wide receivers coach / pass game coordinator at Delaware (FCS). 

Mercyhurst (D-II - PA): Eric Acciani, who previously served as quarterbacks coach at Virginia Union (D-II) has joined the program as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. 

Miami: Josh Gattis has been formally announced as the new offensive coordinator of the Canes. Keep track of all offensive coordinator movement via our OC Tracker page.

Central Oklahoma (D-II): University of Central Oklahoma is seeking applicants for an Offensive Graduate Assistant to work with the RB position. Position will include but are not limited to assisting with position meetings, running drills during practice, assisting with Special Teams, assisting in recruiting, travel and game day duties as assigned, Student-Athlete Development, and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach. Housing and Meals are NOT included. GA’s will receive a monthly stipend of $600. Preference will be given to “In-State” applicants but “Out of State” applicants will be considered. Southern Illinois (FCS): Former Illinois State (FCS) co-offensive coordinator Dan Clark has joined the Salukis as offensive line coach.

McDaniel (D-III – MD): McDaniel College is looking for a full-time Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach. Applicants will be required to structure a detailed plan for the offensive staff and students daily. We are searching for a qualified candidate that can develop the programs Quarterback position. You will be responsible for your own recruiting area, and perform all other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach in all facets of the program to develop a competitive NCAA Division III Football program within the Centennial Conference on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. College coaching and/or playing experience preferred. Compensation for this position will be reviewed by the Head Coach. The search will begin immediately and will continue until filled. Graceland (NAIA - IA): Graceland University located in Lamoni, Iowa has immediate openings for two restricted earnings coaches on either side of the ball. Compensation includes a stipend salary of $12,000 over 12 months. These positions do not include housing or meals. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the football program. Other responsibilities include but not limited to academic support, practice preparation, data entry and recruiting. Tulsa: Defensive quality control coach Craig Suits has been promoted to linebackers coach.

Temple: Jafar Williams, who spent the last three seasons on Justin Fuente's staff at Virginia Tech, is expected to join the staff as pass game coordinator / wide receivers coach, Matt Zentiz tweets.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter is expected to join the staff as passing game coordinator, Ian Rapoport shares.

Chicago Bears: Tim Zetts has joined the staff as assistant tight ends coach and Omar Youngblood in an offensive quality control role. Zetts recently spent over a decade in college football before spending last fall as an offensive quality control coach in Green Bay and Young spent the last three seasons at Eastern Illinois (FCS) working with the running backs.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Dolphins defensive backs coach Gerald Alexander is interviewing for the defensive coordinator job in Jacksonville today, Ian Rapoport tweets. Tom Pelissero adds that HEath Farwell is being added as special teams coordinator after three seasons in the same role with the Bills.

Texas: Gary Patterson will earn $150,000 as a special assistant to the head coach, according to documents obtained by Asher Price of Axios.

Georgia: The defending champs are adding an ACC special teams coordinator to their support staff, sources tell FootballScoop

San Jose State: Chip Viney has joined the staff as cornerbacks coach. Viney spent the past four years at Oklahoma, first as an analyst for recruiting and defense and then as director of player development. 

Missouri: Defensive coordinator Steve Wilks has left the staff for an NFL homecoming.

Dubuque (D-III - IA): University of Dubuque located in Dubuque, Iowa is currently seeking a Defensive Graduate Assistant position. This position includes tuition for graduate school upon admission into the graduate program along with a stipend. This position does not include housing or meals. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program, including but not limited to practice organization, academic support, game preparation, and recruiting. Looking for someone with experience on the defensive side of the ball, great character, and is good with building relations with individuals on and off the field. Presbyterian (FCS - SC): Presbyterian College is accepting applications for an unpaid Quality Control Intern on both Offense & Defense. Intern will assist the Coaching staff with day to day operations including film breakdown, game-planning, scouting, and recruiting. Previous interns have gone on to GA/QC roles and even been promoted to an assistant coach position. This is a VOLUNTEER position with no stipend or housing. Some team meals will be included. Monroe College (JC - NY): Monroe College Football program is seeking qualified applicants for an Offensive Line Coach. This position will be responsible for duties including academic monitoring, recruiting, as well as additional assignments given by the head coach. The candidate needs to live in the Tri-States or greater New York Metropolitan. There is no housing provided. College coaching experience is required, and minority candidates are encouraged. Monroe College is a member of the NJCAA and is in New Rochelle, NY. Minnesota Vikings: Jeremy Fowler tweets that Ed Donatell has emerged as the favorite for the Vikings defensive coordinator job. Donatell previously served as Vic Fangio's defensive coordinator in Denver. 

Monroe College (JC - NY): Monroe College Football program is looking to fill (2) part time openings on their staff, Linebacker and Quarterbacks. Duties will include position coaching for both our varsity and JV rosters, recruiting, as well as additional assignments by the head coach. The candidate needs to live in the Tri-States or greater New York Metropolitan. There is no housing provided. College coaching experience is a plus and minority candidates are encouraged. The compensation for each position is a seasonal stipend. Monroe College is a member of the NJCAA and is in New Rochelle, NY. Minnesota Vikings: Mike Garafolo tweets that former Colts GM Ryan Grigson is joining the Vikings in a senior role in the personnel department. Grigson has since worked in personnel for the Browns and Seahawks after leaving Indianapolis. 

Virginia Union (D-II): Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA has an opening for a full-time quarterbacks coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruiting an assigned territory with the successful recruitment of prospective student-athletes, academic support, QB skill instruction, practice/game planning and execution, and carrying out the primary scheme of the offense. Successful candidate will have a history of coaching Quarterbacks, experience with HUDL and Microsoft Office, and experience with strength and conditioning. New York Giants: Aaron Wilson shares that Rob Ryan and Bryan Cox are expected to join the defensive staff under Wink Martindale. Ryan and Wink worked together in Baltimore last season, while Cox spent the last three seasons with the Falcons.
